There are collectible owls scattered across Tales of Arise, the new action-adventure RPG from Bandai Namco Entertainment. There are 38 owls in total throughout the game. Players who find them all can unlock rewards.
Once Rinwell joins the party in Tales of Arise, her pet owl, Hootie, will alert players to nearby owls. Hootie will appear on-screen upon entry to each of the gorgeous, inviting areas if there are owls present, and then appear again when players draw close to the hidden owls. Tales of Arise players will also be able to hear hooting as they get close to the owls.
There are plenty of rewards and achievements players can earn from finding different numbers of owls. As in other games in the franchise, Tales of Arise rewards its players heavily for going out of their way to completely gather the secret collectibles. Often, players will unlock a beautiful blend of special cosmetic accessories or artifacts, so it is worth tracking down every owl possible.
Where to Find All Owls in Tales of Arise
These are the locations of every owl in Tales of Arise:
Calaglia (Red Owls)
- One owl is found at the end of a bridge close to the exit of the Sandinus Ravine to Ulzebek.
- Another is in Ulzebek on the roof of the Crimson Crows hideout.
- There's an owl by Doc in Mosgul, just behind a short stone wall.
- The next is in the Iglia Wastes. Players should search for the climbing icon in the southwest area of the map to climb up to reach it.
- Another feathery friend is just outside the campground in Lacerda Cliffs.
- There are two owls in the Trench of Flames. One is in an old house just down the path of the Castle Gates part of the map. The second is on a bit of metal mesh in the Gates of Fire portion of the map.
- Kyrd Garrison is where to find another. If entering from Mosgul, players should follow the left side path to the end.
- Another owl is surrounded by chickens on the third floor of Glanymede Castle.
Cyslodia (Blue Owls)
- One of these owls is nesting in a basket near the oxen in Messia 224.
- Another is in the White Silver Plains on the bridge leading into Messia 224.
- The next is in a tree in the Frozen Valley, near the entrance to Safar Sea Cave.
- There's one in the middle of a lake toward the top of the map in the Nevira Snowplanes.
- Another is on a bookshelf in a room on the second floor of Rivelle Prison Tower.
- The last blue owl can be found in the market of the alley portion of Cysloden.
Elde Menancia (Yellow Owls)
- One owl is on a cliff at the pier of Overseer Hill.
- Another is ducked in the wheat field near the stable in Trasilda Highway.
- Another is in the first-floor kitchen of Autelina Palace.
- The next owl is near the stone arch in the southeast part of Tietal Plain.
- Another is snuggled inside a blue vase in the Viscint market.
- This owl can be found on the western edge of Talka Pond Road. The fastest way to get there is to enter the region from Viscint and head left.
Mahag Saar (Green Owls)
- One owl is in a ruined house in Aqfortle Hills near the entrance of Niez.
- The next is in a bucket near the fountain with a crumbling statue in Niez.
- Another owl is in Adan Ruins. From Aqfortle Hills, players should follow the path to the south and venture left.
- If players enter Adan Lake from Aqfortle Hills and head toward the lake, they’ll find a large stone gate. They will need to climb up and over to find the owl on the other side.
- This owl can be missed, as it is in the Mobile Fortress Gradia on the second level of the ship that cannot be returned to later. The owl is in one of the cabins.
Ganath Haros (Purple Owls)
- One owl is in Lavtu Marshlands. Players will need to look for a climbing icon at the southernmost point of the map to climb to the owl.
- Another is beneath a torch by the entrance to Shinefall Woods in Thistlym.
- The next can be found in the north of Shinefall Woods. Players will need to climb a hill and approach the thin arch to find this hidden creature.
- Another is perched by the elevator on the second level of Pelegion that goes to the third level.
- Another owl is close to the exit of Tuah Seashore.
- The next is on the left of the Del Fharis Castle Central Entrance Plaza, near the green healing spot.
Post-Game Owls
- One post-game owl is on the throne in the Lord’s Chamber in Calaglia’s Glanymede Castle.
- Another is also in the Lord’s Chamber, this time in Del Fharis Castle in Ganath Haros.
- The next is in the hidden chamber of Riville Tower in Cyslodia.
- This owl is in the center of Iglia Wastes in Calaglia. The area will require Dohalim to grow some vines to get the owl.
- Another is in the guard room on the second floor of Autelina Palace in Menancia.
- The last owl is on the Uninhabited Island and will appear after the area’s boss is defeated.
