Season 3 for Division 2 has arrived, and with it comes new missions, another Manhunt, and, more importantly, different exotic equipment up for grabs. The exotics are the latest in Massive's attempt to bring some new build diversity to Division 2. There are a weapon and two gear pieces tied into the new season and the new mission at The Summit, the 100-floor mission sure to challenge any player.
The Summit is part of Title Update 11 that has a new Manhunt along with the new season. The Manhunt has its prime target as Bardon Shaeffer, who agents might recognize as the Black Tusk Special Unit leader, but he's decided to go on his own with the help of four of his most trusted allies. Killing each of the four agents will help reveal the plot of why he's become a high-value target worthy of agents' attention. Gaining access to the new exotics will be vital to take him down with ease. Getting those exotics will be a whole different beast, but there is a method to the madness.
How to Get The Season 3 Exotics in Division 2
In Season 3 of Division 2, there are three exotics to get. There's a Sub Machine Gun called the Backfire, A backpack called Momento, and finally a chest piece called Ridgeway's Pride. The Backfire is the easiest of the three to get where Agents need to get up to level 55 in the Season 3 reward track to get there. For the Momento, Agents have to get to level 90. The real challenge is getting Ridgeway's Pride. Getting the chest involves a multi-staged method that will require a lot of grinding to get. The journey begins at The Summit, where agents need to start from stage one and climb to the top, collecting exotic components along the way. There is a different component for each difficulty level inside The Summit. The pieces are as follows along with the floors each can be found:
- Normal Body Armor: Floors 1-10
- Hard Shoulder Pads: Floors 11-20
- Challenging Hunting Knife: Floors 21-50
- Heroic Flag Patch: Floors 51-80
- Legendary Dog Tags: Floors 81-100
Each component for the chest piece will be in a box floors ending in 3, 6, or 9 that needs a key to open. Each box has a 20% chance to have a component piece. The box keys will be found before the floor with the chest to look out on the mini-map for a yellow dot that shows the key's position. Generally, the key will be on the floor before the chest. Once all of the components have been collected. Complete The Summit, and agents will obtain a project in which a weapon with the Talent Sadist, a gear piece with the Talent Perfectly Unbreakable, and an Exotic Component need to be donated. Upon completion of the project, a second project needs to be complete where the following donation criteria are required:
- Kill 3x Named Hyenas, True Sons, Outcasts, Cleaners, and Rikers
- Eliminate 3x Rogue Agents
- Finish off 3x Hunters
- Donate 3x Hyenas, True Sons, Outcasts, Cleaners, Rikers, and Black Tusk Keys
After completing this project, the rewards are the Zero F's chest piece, an Exotic Cache, and Ridgeway's Pride's blueprint. Head to the blueprint bench with all the components and the blueprint with nothing left than to craft Ridgeway's Pride.
