With Season 6 of Fortnite's second chapter rapidly drawing to a close, players can begin to gather hints about what they can expect during the finale and into Season 7 by completing the Foreshadowing Quests. The Foreshadowing questline was recently added to Fortnite Season 6, and each activity tells part of a vague story that provides some clues and lore for Season 7. There are five total activities in the Fortnite Season 6 Foreshadowing questline, and they take players across the map to find and interact with various sci-fi tropes and solve a few short puzzles.
Like any other Fortnite quest, completing each of these challenges will reward players an extra 24,000 XP toward their Season 6 Battle Pass. This boost can help them reach some of the final Tiers and unlock all the variant styles for each Battle Pass skin. While not especially difficult, some of these quests may take players multiple matches to finish. Additionally, the challenges won't all release at once. All Fortnite Season 6 Foreshadowing Quests
The five Foreshadowing Quests in Fortnite Season 6 include the following:
- Repair Damaged Telescopes (5)
- Investigate Downed Black Helicopter (1)
- Use CB Radio (5)
- Place Warning Signs at Crop Circles (5)
- Destroy Spooky TV Sets (5)
There are specific locations players must go to find all five CB Radios, Crop Circles, or Helicopter. However, there are several Damaged Telescopes for players to choose from when completing that challenge and may also be multiple TV Sets to allow players to seek the ones closest to their location in any match.
So far, only the first three challenges have been made available. It is likely the final two will release sometime this week. For the first three quests, players will need to make sure they have enough metal materials to repair the Telescopes, solve a puzzle at the downed Helicopter, and listen carefully to the CB Radio broadcasts. All the Foreshadowing Quests are easiest to complete in Team Rumble Mode, as there will be fewer players in the same areas trying to complete the challenges and players can respawn if they are eliminated while working on their quests.
All the clues in the Foreshadowing Quests appear to be pointing to aliens and space as the next major story arc in Fortnite Chapter 2. The telescopes and helicopter quests hint at it, but the broadcasts players can hear on the CB Radios are fairly obvious. As for how the aliens will be introduced, players will have to wait and find out more when Season 6 reaches its finale.
