When Ephram Brown (Gregory Smith) moves to the small town of Everwood, Colorado, he isn't exactly thrilled about it. His father Andy Brown (Treat Williams) wants to start over following the tragic passing of his wife and the mother of his children, but Ephram is an angry teen who would rather stay in New York.

The TV drama Everwood is fairly underrated as it doesn't get as much love as other nighttime soap opera shows, but it deserves some attention. Created by Riverdale's Greg Berlanti, Everwood aired on The WB from 2002 until 2006. The show dealt with serious subjects and had lots of romantic drama, too. Some of the most interesting characters fit perfectly into the MBTI® framework.

Nina Feeney: ENFJ

Nina Feeney (Stephanie Niznik) becomes friends with Andy and they even fall in love, although viewers wanted them to get together much sooner than they did.

Nina's MBTI® would be ENFJ or "The Compassionate Facilitator." She's a very friendly, cheerful person who wants to help other people. Nina can't help but speak her mind and do whatever she thinks is right. In the first season, Andy learns that Nina is a surrogate for a woman who is in her fifties. Others don't think she should be a mom, but Nina wants to help.

Hannah Rogers: ISTP

Best known for playing April Kepner on Grey's Anatomy, Sarah Drew also played Hannah Rogers on Everwood.

She's very quiet and nervous, making her an ISTP or "The Logical Pragmatist." She's intelligent and can think of a great solution for anything, but it takes her a while to warm up to people or talk that much. These types are called "quiet observers" and that definitely describes Hannah.

Delia Brown: ESFP

Vivien Cardone's Everwood character, Delia Brown, is Andy's daughter and Ephram's younger sister. She may only be in elementary school but she's very wise.

Delia's MBTI® would be ESFP or "The Enthusiastic Improviser." While she of course misses her late mother and wishes that her brother and father would get along, she takes on every new opportunity and situation with a positive attitude. She's social and can make friends with anyone.

Madison Kellner: ISFJ

Madison (Sarah Lancaster) and Ephram have a very juicy romance, as she's 20 years old and he's still in high school. She can't help but fall in love with him but is torn up with guilt the entire time, knowing that it's wrong.

When Madison is pregnant, she lets Andy know about the situation, and he says that she should keep it a secret from Ephram because he would think that he had to support her and the baby. He knows that wouldn't be the best thing for his son. Madison is a kind-hearted person who is an ISFJ or "The Practical Helper." These types are said to be "modest" which is definitely this character, and she's also someone who just wants to be there for others without causing too much of a fuss.

Andy Brown: ENFP

Andy Brown isn't a typical doctor, that's for sure. This character's MBTI® would be ENFP or "The Imaginative Motivator."

Andy likes to work hard and help people. He loves being social and making connections, and he always wants to hear someone's life story, even if it messes up his own schedule. He's a positive presence in the town, even if it takes the others a little time to get used to his approach.

Rose Abbott: ISFP

Rose Abbott (Merrilyn Gann) is one of the greatest mothers on TV. She's always there for her children Bright and Amy and her husband Harold and has a delightfully old-fashioned personality.

Rose's MBTI® would be ISFP or "The Versatile Supporter." She likes to help others, but she's spunky and doesn't suffer fools. One example of her parenting style is when Amy becomes a different person in the second season after her boyfriend Colin's tragic passing and she tells Amy that she has to live elsewhere until she cleans up her act.

Bright Abbott: ESFJ

Chris Pratt played Bright Abbott, a sweet teenager who is a lot smarter than people give him credit for.

His MBTI® would be ESFJ or "The Supportive Contributor." He's a happy-go-lucky type of guy who is popular and friendly. He would do anything for his sister and parents and his friends, and is usually in a great mood.

Harold Abbott: ISTJ

Harold Abbott (Tom Amandes) would love to be the only doctor in the town of Everwood, but unfortunately for him, that's not what happens when Andy moves to town.

Harold is definitely an ISTJ or "The Responsible Realist." These personality types love organization, facts, and when things make sense. It's tough for him to deal with Andy's approach to medicine, as Andy is much more chill and modern than he is.

Amy Abbott: INTJ

Everwood drama

Before Emily VanCamp played Emily Thorne/Amanda Clarke on Revenge, the actress played Amy Abbott on Everwood. Amy and Ephram have a beautiful love story and Amy is a very tough person who has been through a lot over the years.

Before her "bad girl" phase in the second season, Amy is a smart, sensible, sweet teenage girl with a good head on her shoulders. She loves and respects her family and likes being a friendly, popular girl at school, making her an INTJ or "The Conceptual Planner." She's a perfectionist who likes to think about the future and she wants to succeed.

Ephram Brown: INFJ

Ephram Brown is one of those TV characters who is the perfect boyfriend. Whether with Madison or Amy, he's incredibly kind, mature, and respectful. He often seems like more of an adult than his own father or anyone else in the town.

Ephram's MBTI® would be INFJ or "The Insightful Visionary." As an incredibly talented musician, he's quiet but intelligent, artistic, and private unless he feels comfortable around someone.
