Evangeline Lily snaps a photo of herself on the set of Avengers 4teasing another flashback sequence in the film. Not much is known regarding the narrative specifics of the movie, but we know that whatever Thanos was set to do was not entirely completed in Avengers: Infinity War, prompting him to come back for a second round. The epic blockbuster, which is set to wrap-up Marvel Studios' 22-film arc, will also expand the ensemble cast from Avengers 3 with the addition of upcoming major game players like Brie Larson's Captain Marvel and Lily's iteration of the Wasp.

Filming has been going on for months now, with principal photography expected to be done by January. While production is mostly done behind closed doors, fans are provided with sneak peeks courtesy of several social media posts of the actors hard at work on the movie. More recently, Gwyneth Paltrow, who will reprise her role as Pepper Potts in Avengers 4uploaded a very interesting Instagram story that gave us a possible spoiler for the movie. Now, Lily follows suit with an assuming photo of herself after a day's worth of shooting hinting at another flashback sequence in the ensemble flick.

These flashback scenes in Avengers 4 are getting more and more intriguing. After getting a set photo of what looks like a long-haired Thor during the 2012 Avengers era, this new photo brings us back to the first Ant-Man movie where Lily was sporting a bob haircut compared to the longer mane she was seen wearing for Ant-Man and The Wasp. Check out the snap that the actress posted on her official Twitter account below:

In that same light, Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson/Falcon in the Captain America films, has also shared a photo of him on the set of Avengers 4 via Twitter, casually smoking a cigar while waiting for his turn in front of the camera. The picture seems to confirm Falcon will at least survive Infinity War and could become a main player that ushers the MCU into Phase 4.

Marvel Studios is really keeping their Avengers 4 cards close to the chest, not even officially announcing the film's title yet. Some theorize that it could be because the title could be a spoiler for what goes down in Infinity War, although Marvel boss Kevin Feige maintains that it is not as big of a deal as how we think it would be. Whether its a potential spoiler or not, it only makes sense that the company is opting to keep the focus on their upcoming titles next year than pre-maturely release details about Avengers 4, after all, it's still a year and a half before the movie comes out.
