Actor Tom Holland is desperate to make an appearance on Euphoria, which Zendaya says she’ll help him accomplish. Tom Holland is most known for his role as Spider-Man, joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2016's Captain America: Civil War. Alongside Holland, Zendaya portrays MJ (Michelle Jones) in the new Spider-Man series; Spider-Man: No Way Home is the latest release. Zendaya also appears as a drastically different character as the lead in Euphoria. It has become extremely popular since it first hit screens in 2019, being confirmed for a second season before the first was even finished airing.

While promoting Spider-Man: No Way Home, Holland has been trying to distance himself from the MCU after the release of this film. He recently stated that if he was still playing Spider-Man at 30, then he’s “done something wrong.” Holland clearly has love for his character but has been extremely open to passing on the role when Disney and Sony decide to make that decision. He’s also said that due to spending years solely focusing on his career, he would like to give some other aspects of his life some attention, like starting a family.

During an interview with IMDb, while promoting the new Spider-Man, both Holland and Zendaya sat down to answer fan questions. These questions ranged from those surrounding their careers to ones about their personal lives. One fan asked, “When will Tom get a cameo on “Euphoria”?Holland was extremely enthusiastic about this idea, saying he has visited the Euphoria set at least 30 times. After continuing to playfully whine about wanting to be on Euphoria, Zendaya goes on to promise to speak to some people on his behalf.

Holland: Listen, I have been petitioning for this for a long time, and it has not happened yet and I’m very disappointed. I must have come to visit Euphoria at least 30 times this season.

Zendaya: We should have tried to like easter egg, put you in there.

Holland: I want to be on Euphoria!

Zendaya: Ok let me talk to some people. HBO  **** let's get him on the phone.

Tom Holland in the final battle of Spider-Man No Way Home

Since the completion of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Sony has announced a subsequent three Spider-Man projects, although Holland has said he’s not sure in what way he’ll be involved. The actor has offered many alternatives for how his Peter Parker could appear, such as being a mentor to whoever takes his place. Holland is clearly interested in continuing to play Spider-Man in future projects, but he seems just as willing to step aside if it is time for the MCU to introduce a new version of the character.

Moving on from playing Spider-Man would surely disappoint fans, but the decision would allow Holland to pursue other roles so he isn't just known for playing the famous webslinger. With the imminent return of Euphoria season 2 on January 9, 2022, it’s unlikely that Holland will be seen at any point this season. While there’s been nothing said about a third season, with the success of the first and the hype surrounding season 2, it’s likely that this popular series will be renewed. With the help of Euphoria’s lead actor, it’s within the realms of possibility that Holland could feature in the series at some point.
