Spoiler warning: This article contains significant spoilers for Eternals plot points, ending & post-credit scenes.

The cast of Eternals reveals details regarding a scene involving Harry Styles' Eros that was cut from the finished film. The former One Direction member and Dunkirk actor is introduced during the latest MCU movie's mid-credits scene as Eros, the brother of Thanos, alongside his sidekick Pip the Troll, voiced by comedian Patton Oswalt. However, much of the Marvel film focuses on its titular team of superheroes portrayed by Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie.

Written and directed by Nomadland's Chloé Zhao, Eternals introduces an immortal alien race created by the Celestials to defend Earth against their ancient counterparts, the Deviants. After thousands of years of hiding, the team must reunite due to the reemergence of the Deviants, who are now more powerful and pose a greater threat to the world. Eternals debuted in theaters this past weekend, and now, the cast can begin to reveal some more spoiler-heavy details about the MCU's newest epic.

The cast of Eternals recently gathered for Entertainment Weekly's Around the Table video series and revealed a ton of surprising details about the film, most notably a scene involving Harry Styles' Eros that was left on the cutting room floor. During the scene in question, the Eternals and Eros are sitting aboard the spacecraft Domo with their eyes closed and communicating with the Celestial Arishem, who is voiced by David Kaye throughout the film.

Harry Styles' scene in Eternals is nothing more than a cameo as Eros boards the Domo and crosses paths with Thena (Jolie), Makkari (Ridloff), and Druig (Keoghan), though the longer scene the cast says they shot with Styles sounds like a continuation of that initial meeting. It's unclear why it was cut, but the fact that it was "much longer" likely means it was initially intended to be included in the actual film, rather than tacked on a mid-credits scene which tends to be shorter.

Considering that some have already complained about Eternals' 2 hours 37-minute runtime, the scene was likely trimmed for time purposes. Even without it, Eternals still does a fine job introducing another recognizable character from Marvel's comics, Eros, who is also known as Starfox and is primed to play a significant role in the MCU moving forward. Hopefully, Marvel will release the deleted scene soon so viewers can get an extended look at Styles in character.
