New magazine covers for Marvel's Eternals highlights the distinct costume designs for all 10 of the titular superhero family members. The race of immortal humanoids first made their comic debut in The Eternals No. 1 in 1976 and were created by comic book legend Jack Kirby, also known for creating Captain America for Marvel. The group were created by the alien Celestials and intended to be the defenders of Earth, for whom the Eternals were an off-shoot of creation of sentient life on the planet.

Unlike much of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Eternals has the distinction of only attempted to be adapted with its current iteration as Marvel head Kevin Feige announced development on the project in early 2018 with Ryan and Matthew K. Firpo set to write the script. Oscar winner Chloé Zhao would sign on to direct and re-write the screenplay with Patrick Burleigh later that year and production got underway in mid-2019 with an ensemble cast including Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie. Following numerous release delays due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Eternals is currently slated for a November 5 release.

While the release model of Eternals may still be largely unknown, the magazine covers for the film should come as both a point of comfort and excitement for audiences for the upcoming film. With Marvel Studios being notoriously tight-lipped about everything from trailers to story details and magazine covers, the decision to reveal the new images and development stories of the upcoming MCU chapter at this time does point towards it keeping its November date, even if it becomes another hybrid release. This uncertainty aside, however, the new look at the costumes for the titular team are a truly glowing revelation.

The first trailer for Eternals offered a few glimpses of the family in their superhero attire, but primarily saw them donning more civilian clothing, leaving many wanting to see more of them in action and the unique designs of their suits. With reports of a new trailer dropping as early as tomorrow, more footage of the family of immortals finally emerging from hiding to defend the Earth from The Deviants could also offer more looks at their superhero suits. Even if the trailer shouldn't arrive tomorrow, the wait for Eternals is nearly over should it make its November 5 release.
