Eternals presented a new team of heroes to the Marvel Universe, laying the groundwork for new cosmic adventures. The team was unique in that it presented a group of characters that were all very different and special in their own rights. These heroes were not defined by their powers, they were defined by their personalities.
When defining a character's personality, it is often fun to compare them to the positive and negative aspects of the zodiac signs. While the characters in this movie have no official birthday, the still possess traits that allow them to fit comfortably into a zodiac sign.
Aries - Thena
Thena is the most complicated of The Eternals. This is because her mind is broken and it takes all she has to keep it together so she doesn't attack and destroy her teammates. However, despite that, she is one of the most loyal and determined members of the team.
Aries is the sign of aggression, and that is what stands out about Thena, who wants nothing more than to fight and defend what she cares about. Aries also represents someone who feels the need to be the best, which Thena proved more than once in the movie.
Taurus - Gilgamesh
Gilgamesh was a warrior, and the strongest member of the Eternals. He was also one with a kind soul and determined that he would stop fighting and help protect Thena from herself until the end. This makes him a perfect Taurus.
Like a Taurus, Gilgamesh is generous and trustworthy, but also kind and patient, which he had to be to help Thena stay in control through their lives together. Out of all the Eternals, he sacrificed the most, and did it without complaint.
Gemini - Kingo
Kingo is someone who took everything Earth had to offer him and lived his life there joyfully. The Gemini is a zodiac sign that represents someone with two sides to their personality, and that is something that Kingo demonstrates with his role as an actor and storyteller.
A negative trait of the Gemini is an indecisive nature. Kingo proved his loyalty to all his Eternals teammates when he refused to take a side and fight in the final battle because he refused to hurt any of his friends for his own personal beliefs.
Cancer - Ajak
Ajak came to Earth with The Eternals as their leader. She was also the only person who knew up front what their mission really was and she kept it a secret from all but one of her team. Ajak shares the traits with the Cancer.
A Cancer is typically a caring, protective, loyal, and intuitive individual. Ajak proved that throughout the movie, knowing that she had to protect the mission, but also ensuring that each member of her team found happiness and contentment while on Earth.
Leo - Ikaris
Icarus was never the leader of The Eternals. While Ajak was the original leader and Sersi inherited that, Ikaris still stood tall as the one that seemed destined to lead the team, showing all the traits of a Leo, the one sign that signifies a king.
However, Leos also have several negative traits that Ikaris possessed. They are possessive, which he was over his role on Earth, and also egotistic, believing himself to be greater than all the other members of the team, as well as the other Earth's heroes. His dominant personality proved, over anything else, that Icarus was a Leo to the core.
Virgo - Sersi
Sersi was the main protagonist of the Eternals. While all the team members had great character development, it was Sersi that stood tall as the eventual leader of the team and the hero who could save the world. She possessed the traits of a Virgo.
Sersi, like a Virgo, was a logical and hardworking character, someone who was determined to come to the best decision and then never stop until she succeeded in her goal. She was also very faithful, both to her teammates and to the people of Earth she grew to love.
Libra - Dane Whitman
Dane Whitman got a bit shortchanged in the Eternals. He is a man who became a superhero in the comics and was even a leader for The Avengers in the 1990s while dating Sersi. In the movie, Dane was Sersi's boyfriend, but was pushed aside until a post-credit scene showed there was more coming.
As for the zodiac signs, he falls into the camp of the Libra. He showed he was hiding a secret from Sersi, which he never had a chance to reveal, and dishonesty is a troublesome sign for Libras. However, he is also clever and fair, and that should become more apparent when he returns to the MCU.
Scorpio - Sprite
In the comics and Eternals movie, Sprite is easily compared to Loki. Both are storytellers and both have powers that allow them to trick their opponents through illusions and lies. Both share traits with the Scorpio.
On the positive side of things, Sprite is an ambitious and determined hero. However, it is her negative points that drives her character, as someone eternally trapped in the body of a child. Sprite is jealous of humans ability to know love, she is resentful of everyone around her, and she is stubborn, someone who hates compromise.
Sagittarius - Druig
Druig was a complicated member of the Eternals from the start of the movie. His powers were mind control, and he knew that he could stop humans from killing each other and hurting each other. When Ajak and Ikaris stopped him, he left the team.
Like a Sagittarius, Druig is an impatient hero, someone who wants to fix things immediately and not wait for a different solution. He also shows a caring personality and is a deep thinker, someone who sees how the world can be a better place and acts on it, even if it is not completely ethical.
Capricorn - Arishem
The one character in The Eternals that people know the least about, even after watching the movie, is Arishem. He is a Celestial who is also a judge who determines whether a planet should be allowed to live or die. In the movie, he sent The Eternals to ensure Earth died and a new Celestial was born.
With what the movie showed audiences, Arishem fits closely with the Capricorn zodiac sign. He is responsible and works hard to ensure that all plans in the universe comes to fruition. However, he is also pessimistic, and sees humanity as expendable to keep the universe in line, and is stubborn enough to determine that his way is always right.
Aquarius - Makkari
Makkari got the least screen time of all The Eternals, mostly sticking to herself and away from the general public of Earth. When the team reunited after the Deviants returned, she was the one who was already hanging out on their old ship.
As the speedster of the group, and looking at the collection of artifacts on the ship, her detachment and independence shares the signs of the Aquarius. Makkari is also a free spirit who proved to be mostly easy going and friendly to her friends.
Pisces - Phastos
The one member of the Eternals that showed more heart and humanity than almost anyone was Phastos. He wanted nothing more than to help humans develop with his creativity and was generous with his knowledge, a trait inherent in the Pisces.
He also showed to be idealistic and that almost crushed him when his inventions were used for acts of mass destruction. However, as he grew on Earth, he developed a great empathy for people, especially those he chose to love, other strong traits of the zodiac sign.
