Screen Rant has an exclusive clip from Escape Room 2 showing the movie's alternate ending. Officially titled Escape Room: Tournament of Champions, the psychological thriller opened in theaters in the summer as a follow-up to 2019's Escape Room. The film will be available on digital on September 21 and Blu-ray and DVD on October 5.

Escape Room 2 brings back the survivors from the first movie, Zoey Davis (Taylor Russell) and Ben Miller (Logan Miller). Zoey is determined to discover the truth about the Minos Corporation, the shady organization behind their first escape room ordeal, and follows a lead to New York City. However, the duo quickly learns they are not the only survivors as they previously believed and find themselves drawn back into a deadly game. This time they are joined by fellow escape room winners Rachel Ellis (Holland Roden), Brianna Collier (Indya Moore) Nathan (Thomas Cocquere), and Theo (Carlito Olivero) and must once again solve puzzles in order to survive.

With its surprising twists, unexpected character return, and ending, Escape Room 2 left plenty of room for future movies in the franchise. While a third Escape Room movie has not been confirmed, director Adam Robitel said he would like to explore the series more with prequels or origin stories. And because nothing is ever as it seems with these movies, there are plenty of ways to bring back familiar faces from the previous installments.
