Montgomery Gator's first appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach involves a chase sequence where players need to choose the right path or they will be caught and killed by Monty. This event occurs right after players distract Chica and learn how to crouch. Players will also learn about their visibility just before encountering Monty. After sneaking past Chica and going through the next room, a short cutscene will trigger introducing Montgomery Gator.
At the beginning of FNAF: Security Breach, Montgomery Gator is locked up in his room and making a lot of noise, but players won't be able to see him until he starts chasing Gregory. When Freddy leaves Gregory to recharge, he will pass through some of the service tunnels under the Pizzaplex, and that's where players will see Montgomery Gator for the first time. He bursts through a locked fence and begins running after Gregory.
Players will be forced to look at Monty in FNAF: Security Breach, so they will need to turn around before trying to escape. Otherwise, Gregory will end up sprinting directly at Monty. There are several areas where the path splits during the chase, but there is only one right way to go in order to escape Montgomery Gator. At the first split, players should turn right and continue running down the hall.
The Path for Escaping Monty in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach
After taking the first right, players will need to keep running for a small stretch of hallway, then turn left near the three Freddy trash cans. However, doing so will put Gregory right in Chica's path. He will need to turn around again before sprinting away from her and heading up the staircase. Montgomery Gator will still be chasing FNAF: Security Breach's Gregory, so players need to be quick and sprint as often as possible.
At the top of the stairs, players will see a long hallway to run down. After reaching the end, players can turn right into a small security office, and the door will automatically lock behind them. The next portion of this encounter involves strategically moving through the halls using the cameras to keep from getting caught by Montgomery Gator or Chica. Players will also see places to hide in the hallways while looking through the cameras.
In order to keep FNAF: Security Breach's Chica and Montgomery Gator away from Gregory, players will need to use the newly accessible cameras to track the animatronics' movements. Montgomery Gator will stay at the door where players entered the security office, but Chica is roaming around, so players need to sneak past her using hiding places to get by. Taking the right path and using the security cameras will help players escape Chica and Montgomery Gator at the beginning of FNAF: Security Breach.
