Scott Mescudi is best known as a rapper, but has also acted in several projects, including Ti West's X and Adam McKay's Best Picture-nominee Don't Look Up. Entergalactic serves as the first series created by the rapper, with him also voicing the lead character alongside a stellar cast, featuring Vanessa Hudgens, Timothée Chalamet, Keith David, Macaulay Culkin, Jaden Smith, and Jessica Williams.

Now, Netflix shares the trailer for Entergalactic on YouTube, highlighting the plot of the series and its unique animation style. The trailer sees Jabari (Kid Cudi) meeting Meadow (Williams) at a party, where the two form a connection. However, as they begin a romantic relationship, Jabari and Meadow face the struggles of navigating love when surrounded by outside advice and an ex-girlfriend coming back into the picture. Entergalactic looks to offer audiences a relationship drama with comedic elements via a mature animated series intended for adult viewers. The series also looks to embrace Kid Cudi's musical roots with a show that will feature new music from the artist. Coinciding with the release of the series, Kid Cudi will release an album entitled Entergalactic, which will feature the new music from the series. Both the album and the series are set to debut on September 30, with the Entergalactic show streaming exclusively on Netflix.
