The trailer for teen romance movie Endless has been released ahead of its August debut in theaters and on demand. The news comes in the midst of pandemic-related theater closures, which have forced many feature films, such as Tom Hanks' Greyhound, to release straight to streaming. Others are waiting for traditional theatrical releases in August, though it remains to be seen if that will be possible.

Endless' production team, along with Quiver Distribution, decided to opt for a combination, as indicated by the film's trailer. Endless will premiere in both theaters and on demand come August 14th. The trailer depicts the movie as a contemporary teen romance version of Ghost.  It captures the film's major plot points from the couple falling in love, the tragic accident that separates them, and their surprising reunion. While the film's cast is relatively new to Hollywood, their performances in the trailer prove they have training which could lead to breakthroughs for their careers. Endless stars Alexandra Shipp, Nicholas Hamilton, DeRon Horton, and Famke Janssen. Endless is an interesting transition for the film's director, Scott Speer, given his background in directing music videos for Ashley Tisdale and other pop artists.

Per the movie's official synopsis, Endless follows love struck high school graduates Riley (Shipp) and Chris (Hamilton). When they are separated by a tragic car accident, Riley blames herself for her boyfriend’s death while Chris is stranded in limbo. Miraculously, the two find a way to connect. In a love story that transcends life and death, both Riley and Chris are forced to learn the hardest lesson of all: letting go.
