As part of the stunning new line of variant covers, Emma Frost gets a Spider-Man twist and an incredible costume from artist Kaare Andrews. In celebration of Spider-Man's 60th Anniversary at Marvel Comics, several characters from across the Marvel Universe are getting their own variant covers where they're turned into Spider-Man-esque heroes and villains. Included among the group is Emma Frost, whose black and white web-slinger redesign is absolutely breathtaking.

Since debuting in Amazing Fantasy #15 by Stan Lee, Steve Ditko, and Jack Kirby, Spider-Man has become one of the most popular and iconic figures in all of pop culture. Peter Parker's adventures are now more than 880 issues deep at Marvel Comics, as the hero remains an important fixture in the comics. In 60 years, Spider-Man comics have also led to the introduction of many heroes and villains in the Marvel Universe, including The Punisher, Venom, Cloak & Dagger, Kingpin, Morbius, and Black Cat. In addition, versions of Spider-Man have starred in numerous films, including the Academy Award-winning Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the most recent MCU flick starring the web-slinger, Spider-Man: No Way Home.

This week, Marvel Comics shared several new covers to celebrate Spider-Man's 60th Anniversary. Perhaps the most stunning cover came from artist Kaare Andrews (Amazing Fantasy), whose take on Emma Frost is incredibly eye-catching. The hero keeps her trademark white costume in the image, but instead, her corset features a black spider on it. Additionally, Frost wears a black and white mask, while her connecting cape features a spider-web design. The costume, which is also reminiscent of Ant-Venom, is spectacular.

Andrews joins several talented artists with Spider-Man remixes of popular heroes. Romina Jones is doing a version of Mary Jane Watson as Spider-Man for The Amazing Spider-Man #1, Silver Surfer gets his own Spidey twist in a variant cover by Rod Reis for Silver Surfer Rebirth #4, and Iron Man becomes a web-slinger in a cover from Dan Jurgens, Brett Breeding, and Edgar Delgado that will appear on the cover of Iron Man #19. Check out the full list of upcoming Spider-Man 60th Anniversary variants here.

Frost has always sported some incredible looks in the comics, but the Spider-Man costume is among her most spectacular ensembles to date. For readers who want to pick up the Emma Frost/Spider-Man remix from artist Kaare Andrews, the 60th Anniversary variant cover will be featured on Immortal X-Men #2, which arrives in comic book stores on April 27, 2022.
