Emily In Paris's first season is pretty eventful, and while fans don't quite know whether or not a second season is on the way, there are plenty of loose ends left to be tied up. If anything, the finale of Emily In Paris left the audience with more questions than answers, from whether Emily and Gabriel get together to what the consequences will be if it does happen.
A lot of the events of the last episode affect almost every character and their relationship with Emily, and ultimately, if there's a season two of Emily In Paris, there are plenty of questions that need to be answered, which will make for some interesting storylines.
Does Mindy Get Famous?
Mindy is clearly a very talented singer, and while she has a brief moment singing in the park in front of a crowd, she gets a job as a singer in a club.
Since Emily has a growing Instagram following, that could mean that Mindy will also get more exposure as a singer. It would be cool to see her become successful and it wouldn't at all be surprising in the grand scheme of things.
Does Emily Keep Dating Mathieu?
If Emily and Mathieu were officially a couple during the last few episodes of season one, then Emily essentially just cheated on him with Gabriel.
Mathieu was planning a trip with Emily to Saint Tropez, but if he finds out about her and Gabriel, or she has a change of heart, it could definitely impact the longevity of their relationship in season two.
Does Gabriel Break Up With Camille For Good?
Gabriel has a big choice to make in season two. Now that he's staying in Paris, he doesn't have to break up with Camille, yet his feelings for Emily say otherwise.
They had already been arguing about his restaurant and maybe that was enough to ruin things completely, but there's every chance that now that he's staying, Camille will want to talk to him about working things out and getting back together.
Will Camille Find Out That Gabriel & Emily Slept Together?
Assuming that Camille has plans to see both Gabriel and Emily again, how long will they be able to keep their secret from her? If everything goes back to normal, it's only a matter of time before things get out of hand and Camille finds out about them.
If Gabriel and Emily wanted to do the right thing, they would tell her what happened before the whole situation gets weirder, but chances are that won't happen.
Do Sylvie & Antoine Work Things Out?
We already know that Sylvie has feelings for Antoine. She gets upset whenever he's with his wife and it appears that she doesn't really like the arrangement that they have.
It would be really nice to see Sylvie happy, but things won't end well if Antoine's wife gets involved and finds out that the trip for the two of them was actually meant to be for Sylvie and Antoine.
Will Emily Keep Working At Savoir?
The last time we see Emily at Savoir, she's already on thin ice with Sylvie and just manages to keep her job. However, with her growing social media presence and help from Pierre, there might be a possibility that she could branch out to other things.
It's highly unlikely, but Sylvie could always just fire her again and she could find opportunities elsewhere.
What Did Camille Want To Talk About?
In the very last shot of season one, Camille texts Emily saying Gabriel is staying in Paris and she asks if they can talk. Of course, Emily already knows about this because she spent the night with him, but we're assuming that Camille doesn't know that.
There's a chance that she's noticed that Gabriel and Emily have feelings for each other, which will make for an extremely awkward conversation.
What's Next For Pierre?
Pierre has a spontaneous and successful fashion show that manages to reboot his career, but what's next for him? Perhaps he'll continue to make fashion inspired by Emily's basic choices, or maybe he'll go back to his old ways.
There's every chance that he'll appear in season two, so let's hope that he's still cracking the tops of creme brulees and being his iconic self.
Will Emily Choose Gabriel?
Emily sleeps with Gabriel while she's technically seeing Mathieu, and it was a ridiculously stupid thing to do. Realistically, fans all know that Emily truly has feelings for Gabriel and has since she met him.
If things weren't so complicated, they would probably be together at this point, but unfortunately, they've made it difficult for themselves.
What's Next For Gabriel's Restaurant?
Antoine invests in Gabriel's restaurant in the last episode, and naturally, that's a life-changing thing. Before then, Gabriel was planning to move back to Normandy to start his restaurant there.
Now that Antoine is involved, it'll be interesting to see whether they clash at all or whether Gabriel fully thrives with his own restaurant in Paris.
