Elon Musk has been sharing his own personal review of Cyberpunk 2077 over the last couple of days - and he’s been trolling the creators and developers ever since. The well-known CEO of Tesla and SpaceX is known to be a lover of video games as well, but like many Cyberpunk 2077 players, he has been experiencing glitches and other issues.
Elon has shown in the past how much he enjoys video games in his spare time, and is also a fan of science fiction, so something like Cyberpunk 2077 was a game that should excite him. But as more and more news of glitches has been coming out, Elon has taken to Twitter to talk about how he personally feels about the recent release. This isn’t the first time that Elon has talked about issues with a game. He recently roasted Rockstar Games on the current re-release of their latest game, Grand Theft Auto 5, so it isn’t like this is the first time Musk has shared his opinion.
Recently, Musk responded to a tweet that was put out by the Cyberpunk 2077 team, talking about the rise in glitches and how many people have been having horrible issues playing the game on their Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Musk responded with multiple screenshots trolling the developer’s post, one of which was a comment that someone left on Reddit talking about how they “took off a week of work” to play the game and that everything was falling apart, and that he didn’t even want to touch his PlayStation 4. Another post that Musk responded with was a meme featuring The Office’s Michael Scott done up in a Cyberpunk 2077 edit, meant to make fun of the game. Musk also responded to a comment saying he had been able to play the game for a bit of time this weekend, and that it seemed pretty good, but the issues were still there, according to his other posts.
This isn’t the first time that glitches and other issues with the game have come up over the last couple of days over social media. CD Projekt Red has encouraged unsatisfied players to seek refunds because so many people have had concerns about the playability of the game - but didn't bother to actually get the go-ahead from Microsoft, Sony, or retailers. Many modders and other people who are messing around with the game have taken it upon themselves to fix it.
While CD Projekt Red has promised that it will fix glitches as they come around and try to make Cyberpunk 2077 more playable, most say that the game should just be ready to go at launch. And it seems that Elon very much agrees.
