Now fans of the series want to know which characters are the best of the best, so they have taken to Ranker to place their votes. From the ice queen herself Carla to trouble maker Valerio, these characters pushed the envelope with their storylines that fans could not get enough of.

Christian

Christian confronts Polo in Elite.

Christian is one of the original characters who made his debut during season 1. Throughout his time on the series, he wants nothing more but to fit in with the popular kids at Las Encinas. Even though his time on the show is short-lived his character arc is anything but boring thanks to the likes of Carla and Polo.

What fans love about Elite's Christian is that he is so likable. He is this fun-loving teenager who wants nothing more but to fit in with the cool crowd. Viewers can also appreciate the consequences he has to face once he becomes part of the clique which gives his storylines more depth. A prime example is when he finds out Polo killed Marina and is forced to keep it a secret.

Omar

Omar is introduced as Nadia's quiet brother who sells drugs to their peers. The series explores his religion as a Muslim and the constant inner battles he has with himself when it comes to concealing his sexuality. Throughout the series, love is what helps Omar break free and become comfortable in his skin.

Omar's character is a great representation of the LGBTQ+ community. His story sheds light on what it's like to hide one's sexuality out of fear of disappointing parents or loved ones. From his sexuality to his love life, fans continue to root for Omar because he has come so far with his relationship with his parents, as well as his relationship with Ander.

Polo

Polo sits on a couch in Elite.

Right off the bat, Polo is the guy who has it all. A wealthy life, a girlfriend that he loves, and a close-knit of friends. However, throughout the series, viewers start to see a shift in Polo, and his perfect persona that fans are introduced to slowly fades and turns into something much darker.

Polo is revealed to be an Elite villain at the end of season 1, but he is more than just the bad guy. He was complicated because, behind the exterior, he has pain and anguish which causes fans to want to know more about his past. His biggest character arc is when he realized in order to redeem himself he must turn himself in, but before he can do so, he is killed by Lu.

Valerio

Valerio looks to his right in Elite.

Valerio is introduced during season 2 as the vindictive party guy who is in love with his half-sister Lu. Throughout the season, viewers learn the high school student is battling many demons and eventually gets on the path of recovery at the end of season 3.

Fans love Valerio because he has a great redemption story arc. Fans see that this is a man who has issues that cause him to create havoc for his peers. This all originates from not being loved enough by his own family, and his addiction to drugs. He's able to overcome these obstacles by making things right with his friends while also managing the wineries for Carla.

Guzman

One of Elite's most likable characters and the leader of the core group of friends at Las Encinas, Guzman has gone through more than the average teenager including finding out his sister was murdered by his best friend. His trials and tribulations force his character to grow and evolve from a one-dimensional character to somewhat of an anti-hero.

What makes Guzman so likable is even though he sometimes has ill intentions he will always be there for his friends no matter what he's going through. However, his character truly changed when he fell in love with Nadia. Her love awakens a whole new world for Guzman, where he now sees that there is more to life than being rich.

Nadia

Nadia swims in a pool in Elite.

Nadia is the girl who wants nothing more but to please her family but her life is changed upside down when she transfers to Las Encinas. She discovers a whole new side to her, and throughout her time on the show, she is constantly trying to choose which path is right for her.

Nadia is relatable to fans because viewers are introduced to a girl who is on the path to becoming a woman. While on that course she is forced to make many tough decisions including whether or not to stay strong with her Muslim faith. What fans love about Nadia the most is that in the end, she chooses her own destiny apart from her father's and Guzman's.

Rebeka

Rebeka entered the series during season 2 as the wealthy girl who did not get along with the rich kids but instead clicked with Samuel and his friends. Throughout the show, fans learn the truth about Rebeka's wealth while also exploring her sexuality and finding love.

Rebeka is the voice of reason and is that friend that will always help out another friend in need, and that's why fans are drawn to her. Viewers also see a vulnerable side to the character when she opens up about her feelings for Samuel, but it's not until season 4 when fans see how much of a caring person Rebeka is when it comes to protecting her girlfriend Mencia.

Lu

Elite Lu

Lu is introduced as the mean girl who becomes rivals with Nadia due to them both being at the top of their class. Throughout the series, Lu begins to let her guard down and eventually becomes friends and even roommates with Nadia, but not before she murders Polo.

Lu has come a far way from the girl who made it her mission to make Nadia's life miserable. What makes her character relatable is the fact that she is this perfectly imperfect girl, and Elite fans can't help but feel bad for Lu. She is at the top of her class, wealthy, and has a great group of friends, but at the same time, she's insecure and hides that insecurity by being mean to others. Fans love Lu because she finally lets her guard down, and realizes that's it's okay to not be perfect.

Carla

The Ice Queen herself, Carla is introduced as Polo's girlfriend but soon becomes so much more than that. Fans see her try to protect Polo's secret of murdering Marina and witness her on-again-off-again relationship with Samuel.

Carla truly shines after season 1. She is manipulative and conniving and does it all so well without batting an eye. What fans love about her is she is smart and strategic when it comes to protecting Polo and covering up Marina's murder until Samuel gets involved. Samuel outsmarted Carla but also helped bring her guard down, which showed appreciative fans a different side of the character.

Ander

Guzman looks at Ander in Elite

Unlike the rest of his friends, Ander does not come from wealth; instead, he attends Las Encinas because his mother is the principal. Throughout his time on the series, Ander goes through a lot including coming out to his friends and family, getting cancer, and his on-again-off-again relationship with Omar.

From the start, fans loved Ander because he is not like the rest of his peers. He does not have a problem befriending Samuel and his friends, or standing up for what is right. But what fans love the most about Ander is his relationship with Omar. They truly love each other, and even though their relationship faces many challenges, they somehow always find their way back to one another.
