Players will need to defeat Trespassers for a Week 9 challenge in Fortnite. With Week 9 of Fortnite Season 7 already in full swing, players should already be comfortable running into Trespassers. Upon encountering them, Trespassers will either aim to attack the player or kidnap them using the tractor beam of their spaceships. A challenge has finally been added into the game that will reward players who can take them down. With the season's conclusion getting closer every day, these weekly challenges are vital for completing the Fortnite Season 7 Battle Pass. This guide will show players where they can find the Trespassers and how to defeat them.

Chapter 2 Season 7 will come to a close on September 12th, leaving just a bit over a month to complete challenges and achieve the highest tier of the Battle Pass. Aiming for Tier 100 is one thing, but even for the most hardcore players, attempting to achieve the unlocks beyond Tier 100 is where the real challenge lies. While players can take on weekly Epic quests as they are available or wait until the final week to complete them all at once, Legendary Quests disappear at the end of the week. Players looking to get the Prismatic Rick Sanchez skin from Rick and Morty will want to make sure they earn the bonus XP from the Legendary Quests before they are gone. Here's how players can find and defeat Trespassers for this Week 9 Legendary Quest in Fortnite Season 7.

Why Fortnite's Cosmic Summer Event Is Pointless

Players are given two different options to locate Trespassers in Fortnite Season 7. These include:

  • Option 1: Trespasser locations shift with every match. Players will be able to find them where the label on the map is purple and glitching. Players should look at the map before the match begins to determine where to land to encounter Trespassers.
  • Option 2: Players can find Trespassers wandering around the Alien biomes in Holly Hatchery, formerly Holly Hedges.

Regardless of where the player decides to go, they will typically need to shoot down UFOs to get the Trespassers outside. If the player is lucky, they might encounter the Trespassers already outside of their ship. Trespassers can be dangerous, so players should make sure to find a weapon and some shields before engaging.

Players can also encounter multiple Trespassers at a time, so they should always be prepared to double their kills or avoid double the damage. Once this challenge is completed, players will earn 30,000 XP toward their Battle Pass. This challenge is simple enough but can go a long way in reaching the final tiers of Battle Pass rewards.
