With the release of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition, players can access a multitude of new content from the Creation Club. Included among this content is the legendary bow named The Ruin's Edge. This powerful weapon is awarded to players after completing the Edge of Ruin questline.

Like much of the content included in the Anniversary Edition, this weapon was previously obtainable in Skyrim Special Edition through the Creation Club. This Club functioned as an in-game cash shop in which players could obtain Creation Club Credits with real currency. The Ruin's Edge, like all Creation Club content, is included in the Anniversary Edition free of cost.

The Ruin's Edge is a powerful bow that first appeared in the DLC content of Shivering Isles from the previous game in the series, Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. In this iteration, this weapon was a dark bow owned by the Duchess of Dementia, Syl. Similar to its version in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, this bow had a chance to inflict one of the various status effects with each shot.

Skyrim Anniversary Edition: How to Get the Ruin’s Edge Bow

Skyrim's Edge of Ruin quest will be obtained automatically in the Anniversary Edition, and to complete it, players must first head to Stony Creek Cave, which can be found in the western part of Skyrim. The entrance is located on the right side of the lake, nestled between the rocks. After heading inside, follow the creek but beware as three bandits will be blocking the path. At the end of the path, players will arrive at a large area with three bandits and their chief. One of the bandits will try to fight up close, while the other two will keep their distance and attack with arrows and magic. Finally, players will need to kill the chief and loot him to acquire the Ruin's Edge bow.

The Ruin's Edge is a very unique-looking bow, having an animated eyeball just above the grip. It is one of the best bows for archers in Skyrim as it has a chance per shot to apply Frost, Demoralize, Frenzy, Drain Magicka, or Paralyze to the target. To temper the bow, players will need a Daedra Heart and the Arcane Blacksmith perk.
