Elder Scrolls Online will be releasing its next DLC Deadlands and a free update this November. Update 32 offers a few fixes to the game and some new features, including the Armory system. Free to all players, this new system will allow entire build swaps to be completed in one place and practically instantly.

Access to the Armory will be available in two different ways: an Armory Station or an Armory Assistant. The Armory Station will be free to all players and purchasable as furnishing from the Crown Store. After purchase, it can be placed in any Elder Scrolls home owned by the player to access its benefits. Players will also have the option of purchasing the Armory Assistant for a price at the Crown Store. The Armory Assistant offers the added benefit of accessing the Armory almost anywhere in Tamriel in the form of a traveling assistant.

Available actions will be displayed at the bottom of the screen while accessing the Armory. Save Build will note the current loadout of the character and save it for easy access in the future. Equip Build will swap out a character's current build for the selected build. Players can choose Build Settings to change the name and icon for the builds they create, making it easier to sort through their selection later. Using the Armory will always be free of cost.

The Armory Remembers Character Builds In Elder Scrolls Online

Elder Scrolls Online Unlock Armory Station

All Elder Scroll attribute and skill points allocations will be saved for each build, allowing for completely different playstyles to be implemented immediately when swapped. All points that have been committed to Magicka, Health, Stamina, and all distributed skill points can be re-allocated using a Rededication Shrine or a Respecification Scroll. Though these methods work they are costly and time-consuming, the new Armory system will allow players to swap between saved respecs more efficiently.

All passive and slotted Champion Stars are included in a build and will be remembered when saved in the Armory. Players would normally be required to spend 3,000 Gold every time they wished to respec their Champion Points, but a quick trip to the Armory will now save any changes for easy access in the future.

The Armory will also allow players to change their curse status easily. Players who have unlocked the Werewolf and Vampire skill lines in Elder Scrolls will be able to activate and deactivate them quickly using different saved builds. This will save valuable time on quests to cure or reinfect a character.

Any apparel, weapons, poisons, or accessories players are using will be saved to their builds to allow for quick swaps to these items later. Any outfits equipped will also be saved as part of a build, as well as all Quick Slot items like potions and meals. Only items already in the player's inventory can be equipped from the Armory. This means any gear kept in the player's Bank, or anywhere else, that is part of a build won't be included when that build is equipped using the Armory, and will instead highlight red.

The Armory does not allow players to set different Mundus Stones, one type of Standing Stone found across Tamriel, for different builds. When saving a new build the character's Active Buffs will not be remembered. Players wishing to use a different Mundus Stones buff after a build change will still need to visit one of its physical locations to activate it.
