While adventuring in The Elder Scrolls Online, players can earn Titles that will reflect some of their greatest achievements. These optional achievements range widely from difficult and time-consuming to more easily completed challenges. However, sometimes, the easier Titles in Elder Scrolls Online will come with less prestige. With well over one hundred available Titles to acquire in ESO, knowing which ones are the easiest to unlock can help players build their collection.

Equipped Titles will display under a character's name and can be easily swapped in the Character Menu between other awarded Titles. There are no Titles that can be missed in ESO, though some are only available to earn during holiday events. Titles are meant to function like prefixes to a character's name when read.

Players can earn Titles even without access to any expansions or DLC in ESO. The Title of Craglorn Skyshard Hunter will be awarded to players who find all 18 of the Skyshards located throughout Craglorn. Joining the Fighters Guild or Mages Guild is another option available with the base game. Players can earn the Title Fighters Guild Victor by completing the relatively short five quests associated with the Fighters Guild. The Title Master Wizard unlocks for players who have completed the eight quests associated with the Mages Guild.

Easiest Titles To Earn In The Elder Scrolls Online

Players fight through an Oblivion Portal in Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood

Destroying 250 of the Dark Anchors from ESO's Coldharbour will earn the Title Enemy of Coldharbour. The Title Daedric Lord Slayer can be unlocked by defeating all 16 Generals sent by Molag Bal, benefactor of the infamous Skyrim mace, that can appear at these Dark Anchors. This Title can be a bit harder to earn for players who are just starting the game, as these generals spawn based on the encounters all present players have had. All of Molag Bal's Generals are able to spawn at every Dolmen, so just joining in on these battles should get players closer to acquiring the Title with each fight.

Most Alliance War Ranks also unlock matching Titles once they are earned. These rankings will unlock once the player has entered Cyrodiil for the first time. The Volunteer Title is the easiest Title to earn using this method and is acquired at Alliance Rank 2.

Players looking to purchase a home may also earn an ESO Title with their investment. Obtaining and entering Daggerfall Overlook, one of the best player houses available in ESO, will earn players the Title Lord / Lady, obtaining and entering Serenity Falls Estate will earn the Title Clan Father / Clan Mother, and obtaining and entering Ebonheart Chateau will earn the Title Councilor. Additionally, the Title Count / Countess will unlock for any character that owns all three of these notable homes.

Certain location-specific Titles can be earned more easily than others. Completing nine of the main quests available in Wrothgar will grant the Title Kingmaker. Finishing the seven main quests in the Morrowind Chapter will grant the Title Champion of Vivec.

There are a few easier Titles to be earned for players who purchase expansion chapters of the game. After completing the two prologue quests for Elsweyr, one ESO location unexplored by other games, the Title Elsweyr Strategist can be earned by turning in 30 daily quests for Zahari in Grahtwood. Similarly, the Title Clanfriend can be unlocked by completing 30 daily quests for Huntmaster Sorim-Nakar or Numani-Rasi in Vvardenfell. The Librarian Title can also be earned in Vvardenfell by assisting Librarian Bradyn in locating the lost Library of Andule, accomplished by finding all 30 of the ancestral tombs and making a rubbing of their information.

Master Thief is an ESO Title that players can earn if they are involved with the Thieves Guild and steal all 16 treasures from Kari's Hit List and place each inside the Thieves Den. Members of the Dark Brotherhood featured in Skyrim can earn the Title Executioner by killing all 15 targets detailed in the Litany of Blood. Finally, completing all ten of the available Dark Brotherhood quests will earn players the ESO Title Silencer.
