The Crucible Knight Floh enemy and their powerful magical attacks take center stage in all-new Elden Ring gameplay footage. Equipped with Crucible Armor, the Crucible Knight Floh appears to be a pretty standard foe that players will occasionally come across while exploring Elden Ring's vast open-world.

Developer FromSoftware has showcased plenty of gameplay in recent months, following the title's resurgence last year during Summer Game Fest 2021. And even more continues to surface due to leaks stemming from Elden Ring's Closed Network Test, which FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco Entertainment hosted in mid-November. One such gameplay leak made the rounds earlier this week, offering viewers a glimpse at Bok - a seemingly friendly NPC who players first encounter as a talking tree. The YouTube channel responsible for the video in question recently unleashed yet another clip, one centered on a rather hectic battle with a Crucible Armor-wearing Knight.

Yesterday, January 12, YouTube channel ER-SA (via Wccftech) uploaded a roughly 30-second gameplay video taken from the Elden Ring Closed Network Test. The clip depicts a battle between the player character and a Crucible Knight Floh, a regular enemy whose combat attacks are anything but normal. Magical tail attacks, spinning sword blows, and flight-induced power moves from the Crucible Knight keep the user on their toes throughout the fight. Given the enemy's sheer formidability, it's easy to see why the player ultimately suffered defeat. See the Crucible Knight Floh in action in the video linked below:

Based on the footage featured above, anyone who thought the Black Knights in Dark Souls were intimidating may be in for a rude awakening once Elden Ring's imposing Crucible Knights grab hold of them. And the magical moves in display in ER-SA's video probably don't even cover half of what these particular knights are truly capable of once the going gets tough.

Elden Ring seems an evolution of FromSoftware's Soulslike games, much like Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice before it. The renowned Japanese studio left no stone unturned when building the latest project either, partnering with novelist George R.R. Martin to lay the foundations of the lore and narrative. What exactly it will all entail remains to be seen, but those looking forward to Elden Ring don't have to wait too much longer to uncover its myriad mysteries for themselves.
