The Rivers of Blood Katana is one of the late-game weapons available in Elden Ring. As players explore the lands, strengthen their characters, and learn the attack patterns of the various monsters, they'll also find different types of weapons. From long-ranged weapons like the bow and arrow to a close-ranged Battle Axe, there's something available for all types of players. For sword users, the Rivers of Blood Katana is one of the best weapons in the game because of its unique ability. It has the power to give enemies the blood loss status ailment, causing them to lose HP even faster for a limited time.

This weapon can be incredibly helpful for taking down some of Elden Ring's more challenging bosses. The weapon's skill, Corpse Piler, will cause the player to swing the blade around rapidly, hitting everything in the nearby vicinity. The player will need at least 12 Strength, 20 Arcane, and 18 Dexterity to wield it. Fortunately, there are tons of different ways to farm for Runes in Elden Ring, making it easier to grind during the late game. Since the Rivers of Blood Katana is a melee weapon, players should already have a decent enough Strength stat at this point in the story.

In order to find the Rivers of Blood Katana in Elden Ring, the player will need to go to the Mountaintops of the Giants. Upon arriving, head to the southeast section of this area to find the Church of Repose. Before heading to this location, make sure to spend any remaining Runes. There will be an upcoming invader battle that will prevent the player from leaving until a winner is declared. Upon getting close enough to the Church of Repose, Bloody Finger Okina will appear. Defeating him will reward players with the Rivers of Blood Katana

How To Beat Bloody Finger Okina in Elden Ring

Elden Ring How To Get The Rivers of Blood Katana Location

Since Bloody Finger Okina wields the exact weapon the player came to collect, they'll need to worry about the same issues. The Rivers of Blood Katana will cause blood loss if it happens to hit the player. He's incredibly aggressive and will run towards the player often but his attack will leave him wide open to be punished. The best thing to do to defeat Bloody Finger Okina is to bait out his attacks, and hit him when he's left wide open.

It's better to play carefully instead of having to track all the way back to this location. Once the battle is over, Bloody Finger Okina will drop the Katana for the player to collect. At this point in the story, players should invest their resources into this weapon as it's strong enough to carry the player all the way to Elden Ring's final boss. Get comfortable with Weapon Skills and use them to destroy all enemies.
