A talented Trials Rising modder designed an Elden Ring mod that features sites of Grace-inspired checkpoints and even an Erdtree. Countless Elden Ring mods have hit the web since the role-playing title's release in late February of this year. Some fan-made builds introduce quality of life changes, like reducing load times or adding coveted transmog features. Meanwhile, other PC mods bring in odd additions such as the ability to transform the already frightening Tree Sentinel into a Thomas the Tank Engine-esque figure.

Elden Ring hit store shelves roughly two and a half years after its original E3 2019 announcement. Hardly anyone would argue that it wasn't worth the wait, though. Building upon the foundation laid in FromSoftware's celebrated Soulsborne series, Elden Ring manages to take the well-worn open-world formula and wring out a new approach to exploration and quest-based content. Evidently, Elden Ring's appeal stretches beyond its RPG qualities since modders have found ways of bringing the world of FromSoftware's latest opus to other genres.

Yesterday, April 6, Twitter user JANVRC2 shared gameplay footage of a Trials Rising mod that takes inspiration from Elden Ring. A user named kailiman666 designed the mod named xKx-ELDEN RACE, according to a subsequent tweet from JANVRC2, and it's clear they put ample time into the effort. In the gameplay video, a Trials Rising player rides their dirt bike up ramp-laden, stony terrain, accessing checkpoints that look a lot like sites of Grace. The player passes beneath the occasional stone pillar and flips over a steeple every so often, all while Elden Ring's mysterious Erdtree looms in the background. And, of course, the mod comes to a resounding close when the biker randomly dies despite finishing the Elden Race unscathed. Check it out in the video linked below:

Kailiman666 deserves several pats on the back for their stunning creation. Not only does the Elden Race Trials Rising mod look like Elden Ring, it seems as though it could comfortably fit in the Lands Between - that is if dirt bikes and ramps were a common sight in the vast open-world environment.

Interestingly, Elden Race isn't the only mod to drop the sights and sounds of Elden Ring into another popular game. An Elden Ring-inspired Tekken 7 mod made the rounds recently, too, even impressing the likes of Tekken Producer Katsuhiro Harada. This fan-made build in question added characters such as Alexander, Malenia, and Radahn to the fighting game, allowing players to match Tekken's mightiest warriors against a few powerful demigods.
