The Sword of St Trina is a powerful utility weapon in Elden Ring imbued with a unique Weapon Skill known as Mists of Slumber. Upon activation, the sword will release a frontward, sweeping purple mist that will inflict targets with the sleep status effect. Furthermore, the blade's light attacks also can induce enemies to fall into a slumber.

While the sleep buildup will naturally not apply to all Elden Ring bosses or elite enemies, it can affect foes such as Leonine Misbegotten or Margit the Fell Omen, causing them to stumble over temporarily. Such results might compel Tarnished to experiment with the Sword of St Trina to see which enemies throughout the world are vulnerable to the sword's somniferous power. Indeed, many more overpowered weapons will far outshine the Sword of St Trina. Yet, a recommended approach with this blade would be to equip it as a sidearm, using it to inflict sleep on foes and then switch to the main weaponry to deliver the Critical Strike.

The location of the Sword of St Trina is within the northwestern Caelid, near the Rotview Balcony. From the Shack of the Rotting, if Tarnished adventurers peer down into the valley, they may notice a giant-headed crow beast perched atop a branch. This creature guards the crypt known as the Forsaken Ruins, the site where the Sword of St Trina is hidden away. Although the player does not need to defeat the crow to access the ruins, they will need a Stonesword Key to enter the underground passageway.

To get to the Forsaken Ruins, travelers must follow the trail northeastward from Limgrave to the Smoldering Church in Caelid. Along the way, they will encounter a fork in the road. The left will lead to one of the region's Erdtree, and the right will continue down the highway. Journey further down the highway path and then rest at the Site of Grace of Rotview Balcony. Riding atop Torrent, rush towards the Imp Seal Statue and dispel the barrier. During this time, the crow monster will come crashing on the player but cannot do damage. Immediately dodge-roll, descending into the crypt below. Open the chest to acquire the Sword of St Trina.

The Sword of St Trina has a stat requirement of Strength 10, Dexterity 12, and Intelligence 14. Those going for an overpowered min-max build may not want to mess up their stats just for this weapon. On the other hand, those building a hybrid class or are curious to see how this blade can offer its utility in their attack rotations might wish to allocate their stats accordingly in Elden Ring.
