An extremely prepared Elden Ring player has set a world record by defeating the game's two final bosses, Radagon and the Elden Beast, in just one hit each. FromSoftware's open-world fantasy epic gives players plenty of tools to work with, including weapons and magic spells, which has led to some truly breathtaking Tarnished builds. Shortly after launch players managed to start killing Elden Ring bosses in one hit, and now one player has instantly defeated both Radagon and the Elden Beast.

Elden Ring embraces and expands the RPG elements that FromSoftware crafted in Demon's Souls and the Dark Souls trilogy, allowing for immense player freedom. There are numerous weapons to be found throughout the Lands Between, ranging from the Moonveil katana to the Grafted Blade Greatsword, and each grants players different strengths and weaknesses in combat. Magic is also a big part of Elden Ring, with spells like Comet Azur and Loretta's Mastery letting skilled sorcerers decimate their opponents. One player was able to take advantage of the game's various items, spells and buffs to create One Punch Man in Elden Ring, but even this player was unable to one-shot both Radagon and the Elden Beast.

As reported by Forbes, a YouTuber and Elden Ring master named Your Average Gamer has set a world record by defeating both Radagon and the Elden Beast in one hit. The two endgame bosses are extremely tough, and their contrasting strengths and weaknesses make it difficult for a single build to one-shot both of them. However, Your Average Gamer managed to pull off this impressive feat on New Game+ 7, Elden Ring's highest difficulty. The immense single blow is dealt by the Ancient Dragons' Lighting Strike incantation, with its strength bolstered by numerous buffs including Contagious Fury and the Howl of Shabiri.

While Your Average Gamer seems to have mastered the art of evaporating bosses, an Elden Ring pacifist build challenge tasks players with doing the exact opposite. FromSoftware's open-world RPG is centered around killing enemies and monsters, but the game's vast toolkit actually makes it possible to avoid killing. The pacifist run relies heavily on the use of Spirit Summons, which allow players to avoid combat as their spectral allies do the fighting. The use of sleep-inducing tools, like Sleepbone Arrows, also lets players incapacitate foes without bloodshed.

Using the wide number of skills and spells available in Elden Ring lets Your Average Gamer turn their Tarnished into an immensely powerful being. With just two casts of Ancient Dragons' Lighting Strike the player manages to melt Radagon of the Golden Order and the otherworldly Elden Beast. This impressive feat demonstrates that even the strongest Elden Ring bosses can be easily felled given enough planning and preparation.

Elden Ring is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
