The Moon of Nokstella is a Legendary Talisman in Elden Ring that increases Memory Slots by two, expanding the available space for memorized Sorceries and Incantations. This Talisman functions similarly to a Memory Stone but will only raise the max number of Spell slots as long as Tarnished wears the Talisman. When the player removes the Moon of Nokstella, the equipped Spells in Elden Ring will return to being unequipped.

As its name implies, the Moon of Nokstella is a treasure hidden within the Nokstella, Eternal City, a subterranean region similar to the Siofra River or Nokron. Furthermore, similar to Nokron, Nokstella is part of the same map as the Ainsel River, the section below the Eternal City. Tarnished can access the Ainsel River by taking the magical lift within the Ainsel River Well in eastern Liurnia of the Lakes. On the other hand, Nokstella is blocked off and only enterable once adventurers have progressed through Ranni the Witch's questline.

After defeating Starscourge Radahn, Tarnished can meet with Ranni within her tower, Ranni's Rise, west of the Caria Manor. After accepting her call to servitude, the protagonist is tasked with finding the hidden treasure within Nokron, Eternal City. This treasure refers to the Fingerslayer Blade, a Key Item located in a chest under the massive skeleton statue of Night's Sacred Ground. The closest Site of Grace to this location would be the Ancestral Woods, which becomes accessible once adventurers defeat the Mimic Tear boss guarding the long overpass.

Where to find Moon of Nokstella Talisman in Elden Ring

Once Tarnished has the Fingerslayer Blade, they can return to Ranni in Liurnia to complete her Elden Ring quest. Afterward, the protagonist will obtain access to Renna's Rise, a tower northeast of Ranni's Rise. Enter the tower and ascend the ladder and stairway to the top. Here, adventurers will discover a Sending Gate leading to Nokstella, Eternal City, and the northern half of the Ainsel River.

From Renna's Rise, players will be teleported to the Site of Grace within Ainsel River Main. Travel south through the Uhl Palace Ruins in Elden Ring and turn right to reach Nokstella, Eternal City. Be careful of the giant ants within the entrance tunnel. Next, ascend the citadel by walking up the stairwell on the left and then crossing the bridge to the northern building. The pathways will be swarming with Silver Tears, so tread carefully. After reaching the large cathedral at the top of a tall staircase in the northwest, Tarnished must fight their way past two Silver Tear Mimics and a Nox Swordmadien. Once the enemies have been defeated, the player can find the Moon of Nokstella Talisman within a nearby chest.
