Makar the Magma Wyrm is a Dragon in Elden Ring that guards the exit of the Ruin-Strewn Precipice, the optional route to Altus Plateau for those looking to skip the Grand Lift of Dectus. To reach this location, Tarnished pilgrims must trek through the Ravine in North Liurnia, which can be accessed by traveling north of the Sorcerer's Isle. At the end of the long gorge, players will find a Golden Seed and the entrance to Ravine-Veiled Village, which connects to the Precipice above.
The Ruin-Strewn Precipice Dungeon leading to Makar's den is crawling with Miners, Imp Miners, Giants Bats, and Harpies. Once Tarnished adventurers make it to the Magma Wyrm's lair, they have the option to summon three NPCs to aid them in battle. Makar's primary attacks that might cause players trouble are its charge and combos. When charging, the Wyrm will pursue its target while leaving behind a trail of lava. As for the Dragon's combos, the rearing animations can make dodge-roll timing quite tricky.
