Elden Ring’s Giants once tended a mighty forge, and players can learn some of their most powerful fiery Incantations with the Giant’s Prayerbook. The Giant’s Prayerbook can be given to a cleric tutor to unlock the Giantsflame Take Thee and Flame, Fall Upon Them Incantations. Incantations are spells that scale with Faith and can only be cast with a Sacred Seal, and players can rest at any Site of Grace to equip new spells that will help them traverse the Lands Between.
To get the Giant’s Prayerbook, Elden Ring players will have to make their way to the Guardian’s Garrison in the Mountaintops of the Giant’s region. Unfortunately, this region is one of the last areas players will reach in the game, and it can only be accessed after players have beaten Demigod Morgott in Leyndell, Royal Capital. The Guardian’s Garrison is located near the Lord Contender’s Evergaol, just southeast of the Whiteridge Road Site of Grace.
From the main entrance of the Guardian’s Garrison, Elden Ring players can take a sharp left turn until they find a ladder leading up to the next floor. After climbing the stairs at the end of the platform, there will be a pile of crates that players can break to reveal a hole in the stone wall, which they can jump through to reach a wooden catwalk with another set of stairs at the end. There will be a miniboss named Chief Guardian Arghanthy guarding the garrison’s southern tower. At the top of that tower, players will find a chest containing the Giant’s Prayerbook.
Elden Ring - How To Use The Giant’s Prayerbook
Once Elden Ring players have obtained the Giant’s Prayerbook, they’ll be able to deliver it to either of the game’s cleric tutors. Brother Corhyn is located near the Roundtable Hold’s Site of Grace, though he may move to Goldmask’s location in Altus Plateau later in the game. However, players will always be able to find Miriel, Priest of Vows, at the Church of Vows in Liurnia of the Lakes. In addition, giving them the Giant’s Prayerbook will unlock the ability to purchase the Giantsflame Take Thee and Flame, Fall Upon Them Incantations in their shops.
Giantsflame Take Thee is a powerful fire Incantation in Elden Ring that throws a massive fireball at enemies. On the other hand, Flame, Fall Upon Them, throws a large cluster of smaller fireballs at the caster’s foes. However, these fiery spells require Faith to cast, and players will have to have at least 28 Faith to use Flame, Fall Upon Them, and 30 Faith to use Giantsflame Take Thee.
