During Ranni the Witch's quest in Elden Ring, she tasks players with finding something known as the "Hidden Treasure of Nokron." This obscurely named object refers to Elden Ring's Fingerslayer Blade, but despite the name this is classified as a Key Item, not a weapon. The Fingerslayer Blade's sole purpose in the game is to be given to Ranni, which will reward players with the Carian Inverted Statue.

As its name implies, the Hidden Treasure is located within Nokron, Eternal City, the subterranean region beneath Limgrave above the Siofra River. Therefore, to get the Fingerslayer Blade in Elden Ring, players must venture into Nokron to retrieve it. However, some adventurers might not know where the Eternal City is in Elden Ring or how to access it. Furthermore, once they arrive in Nokron, the game does not explain where to look for the Fingerslayer Blade. Fortunately, it isn't too difficult to find, and the player can even bypass most of the hostile enemies along the way.

Unlocking The Fingerslayer Blade Location

To enter Nokron, Eternal City and get the Fingerslayer Blade in Elden Ring, the player must defeat Starscourge Radahn, the Demigod General of Caelid. This mid-game foe is one of the most challenging bosses in the Lands Between, yet when players comes out victorious, they will be rewarded not only with his Remembrance and Great Rune but an entire new region to explore.

For a quick guide on how to cheese Radahn's boss fight in Elden Ring easily, check out the YouTube video from Rifle Gaming below!

After successfully defeating Radahn, a cutscene will play showing a star falling from the sky and landing in the forests of Limgrave. If players travel to the area where the star collided with the ground (Mistwood) they will be able to enter the newly created crater and explore.

Fingerslayer Blade Location Inside Nokron

By continuing down through the break in the Lands Between, players will find Nokron, Eternal City. After reaching the first Site of Grace, players must fight a mandatory boss to continue across the extended overpass that spans across the map. The boss is one of Elden Ring's Mimic Tears (which can be obtained as a Spirit Ash later) and will become an exact copy of the player once activated.

To beat the Mimic Tear boss easily, players should wait before entering the boss room and unequip all their weapons, armor, and spells. Once the Mimic Tear copies this unarmed form, re-equip your weapons of choice and let them have it!

After beating the Mimic Tear and reaching the Ancestral Woods Site of Grace, players need to complete a brief platforming challenge to find the Fingerslayer Blade. This is a somewhat complicated task, and players who need a visual walkthrough should watch the video below from Games From Mars to see just exactly where to jump to get Elden Ring's Fingerslayer Blade for Ranni:

From the Site of Grace, leap off the cliff and onto the roof to the south. Being mindful of the gap, carefully drop onto the ledge below. Go around the corner on the left and leap onto the balcony on the opposite side. Continue parkouring across the rooftops until reaching two Silver Tears that will transform into humanoid forms when the player approaches. Players can either attack them or dash past to the left and run across the arch to the chapel-like structure.

After entering the chapel in Nokron, Eternal City, go to the first floor and either attack or run past the enemies to the front entrance. Make a U-turn at the cliff edge and swiftly sprint past the multiple Silver Tears (or engage with them for more runes) to reach the giant hooded skeleton structure at the end. Inside the building, players will find a treasure chest with Elden Ring's Fingerslayer Blade.

What To Do With The Fingerslayer Blade

With the Fingerslayer Blade in hand, players can return to Ranni and hand it over for the Carian Inverted Statue. This item is used in the Carian Study Hall to flip the entire building upside-down, and allows players to access previously unreachable areas in the castle above. Using the Inverted Carian Statue is the only way to reach the Divine Tower of Liurnia, which contains the Cursemark of Death. This is an important item for two different endings in Elden Ring, so getting the Fingerslayer Blade for Ranni is something many players will likely want to do at some point.
