In Elden Ring the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella is a Great Enemy Boss that resides in a spacious lagoon south of Nokstella, Eternal City, in the subterranean region of Ainsel River. Yet, despite having "Nokstella" in its title, the Dragonkin Soldier's lair is not connected with the Eternal City but accessible through the lower portion of the region, enterable via the Ainsel River Well in Liurna of the Lakes. As a result, Tarnished do not need to progress through Ranni's questline to encounter Nokstella's hidden boss.

Defeating the Dragonkin Soldier of Nokstella in Elden Ring rewards players with 12,000 Runes, Frozen Lightning Spear, and a secret in-game achievement/trophy. Frozen Lightning Spear is a Dragon Cult Incantation that is exceptionally flashy but only effective against trash mob groups or large, slow-moving enemies. Nevertheless, it can be quite practical in the early game for Faith users, as long as their opponent doesn't possess a small hitbox or isn't skilled in dodging ranged abilities.
