The Cinquedea is a Dagger in Elden Ring wielded by the Beast Clergyman and increases the power of Bestial Incantations. Scaling with Strength and Dexterity, the Dagger is an excellent weapon choice for Tarnished running a Faith Bestial Build, equipped with Spells such as the Beast Claw or Stone of Gurranq. These rare Incantations are acquired by giving Deathroot in Elden Ring to Gurranq, the Beast Clergyman of the Bestial Sanctum in Dragonburrow, Caelid.

The Bestial Sanctum is also where the Cinquedea is hidden, specifically in the lower levels behind the cliffs of the sanctum. However, it is important to note that since the 1.03 update, many Tarnished have encountered a death plane on the pathway to finding the Dagger, making the weapon currently unobtainable. This predicament is likely because of an accidental bug introduced in the patch and will hopefully be addressed soon. Until then, those affected by this glitch should wait until the developers fix this issue before attempting to take the primary route to get the secret weapon.

Nevertheless, the path to the Cinquedea is still the same, and once the bug has been fixed, this method will presumably be the main technique of reaching the Dagger's location. To get the Cinquedea Dagger in Elden Ring, Tarnished must complete a tricky platforming challenge to reach the bottom level of the Bestial Sanctum's rear exterior structure.

Cinquedea Dagger Location In Elden Ring

Elden Ring Where To Find The Cinquedea Dagger

The first step is getting to the Bestial Sanctum in Dragonburrow of northern Caelid. The standard way to reach this location in Elden Ring is by taking the main road from Smoldering Church to Caelem Ruins. Slightly northeast of the ruins, Tarnished will find a jutting ledge that allows them to vault across the gorge atop Torrent. Continuing onward, adventurers will encounter several Dragons, including Greyll, the guardian of Farum Greatbridge. Furthermore, when players finally arrive at the Bestial Sanctum, they will be confronted by Black Blade Kindred at the entrance. All of these lesser and Great Field Bosses may prove to be a challenge to Tarnished; therefore, those looking to bypass these difficult enemies can take the alternative pathway to the Bestial Sanctum.

Behind the Third Church of Marika in East Limgrave sits a small creek leading to a hidden Sending Gate. This portal will teleport players to the doors of the Bestial Sanctum, behind Black Blade Kindred. As a result, all of the bosses along the way can be skipped. Next, head to the western cliffside near the sanctum. If players look down, they will see several giant roots protruding from the wall. Dropping down, they must use these roots to reach the first level of the secret area. Keep in mind that until the aforementioned bug is fixed, Tarnished will be instantly killed if they touch the end of the base root.

For the next few levels downward, players are recommended to utilize Torrent's double jump ability to make their way to the platforms below. The way to the last level will be the most challenging, as Tarnished must stick to the wall to have Torrent land on the thin ledge to avoid lethal fall damage. After reaching the bottom, head north to a small balcony with several statues. The Cinquedea Dagger can be looted from the broken figure lying down.
