The Beast Champion Set is a 4-piece collection of silver armor in Elden Ring that features a bulky yet spectacular design "engraved with tiny beasts." This armor set provides exceptionally high Poise, damage negation, and resistances at the cost of being exceedingly heavy. Furthermore, when altered at a Site of Grace or with Boc the Seamster, the outfit displays a gorgeous cape embellished with ornaments and a regal pattern in Elden Ring.

While some Tarnished have likened the helmet to a crushed soda can, the Beast Champion Set pairs excellently well with other armor set pieces. For instance, the Navy Hood of the Noble's Set fits effortlessly with the mantle version of the Beast Champion Armor. Other superb alternatives to the helmet would be the Helms of the Royal Knight Set or the Cuckoo Knight Set. Naturally, Tarnished fashionistas can experiment on their own to create their preferred look for the Beast Champion Set.

The Beast Champion Set in Elden Ring can be obtained from the very start of the game in North Limgrave. After adventurers make it past Stormgate and reach the Stormhill Shack, they can follow the highway east to find the Warmaster's Shack. Inside, Tarnished will encounter Knight Bernahl, an NPC merchant who sells a wide variety of Ashes of War. However, if slain, Bernahl will drop the Beast Champion Set, including his Legendary Warhammer, the Devourer's Scepter. Keep in mind that although Bernahl can be killed at any level, attacking him at a low level might be a challenge due to the difference in HP and damage output.

However, unless Tarnished are "speedrunning" to unlock the Beast Champion Set, it might be more worthwhile to complete Knight Bernahl's questline first before slaying him, especially if it's the adventurer's first playthrough. After reaching the Volcano Manor, Bernahl will relocate to the dining hall, where players receive their contracts from Headmistress Tanith. If Tarnished pilgrims complete Bernahl's side quests, they will be rewarded with unique rarities such as the iconic Raging Wolf Set and the Gelmir's Fury Sorcery.

Once Rykard, Lord of Blasphemy, has been slain, the residents of the Volcano Manor will relocate to other areas, including Bernahl. Tarnished adventurers can encounter him for a final time in Crumbling Farum Azula, within the spire with the Old Lord's Talisman. Knight Bernahl will invade the player, challenging them to duel. Nevertheless, once he has been killed, he will drop his weapon, the Beast Champion Set, and the Blasphemous Claw, a unique item used for the boss fight with Maliketh.
