An awesome new piece of fan art imagines what Baby Driver star Eiza Gonzalez might look like as Catwoman in the DC movie universe. The famed Gotham City antihero has been adapted numerous times over the years, having previously been portrayed by the likes of Lee Meriwether, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry (kind of), and Anne Hathaway on the big screen. Selina Kyle has also had a major presence on television, with accomplished performers like Julie Newmar and Eartha Kitt having been the first actresses to bring her to life. Her origins and relationship with a young Bruce Wayne encapsulate the latest take on the character to hit the screen, with young Camren Bicondova taking on the role for the hit FOX series, Gotham.

But if you thought Hollywood may have had their fill of Selina Kyle and would look to adapt new characters for their shared cinematic universe (which may not actually be called the DCEU), you'd be wrong. Assuming the project actually ends up getting made, Catwoman will soon return to theaters in director David Ayer's Gotham City Sirens film, in which she'll reportedly co-star alongside Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy.

News has slowed a bit on the project since it was first announced in December of last year, but if recent rumors prove true, that may soon change. Actress Eiza Gonzalaz was first rumored for Catwoman back in June, and a recent Twitter follow by Ayers have reignited those whispers. With that, famed fan artist BossLogic has stepped up to the plate to give his take on what the Baby Driver star could look like while prowling the streets of Gotham.

I love @eizagonzalez that's just me :D A post shared by Bosslogic (@bosslogic) on

BossLogic looks to have taken a few influences for his work here, most notably the hand-stiched design of Michelle Pfeiffer's suit from Batman Returns and the high tech cat ears Anne Hathaway sported in The Dark Knight Rises. It's certainly a fitting look for the aesthetic Ayer established in Sirens' predecessor, Suicide Squadand one that would feel at home in the DCEU. Whether or not it manages to top the artist's previous Catwoman casting rendition of Priyanka Chopra is up for debate.

Of course, the bigger debate will be whether or not Eiza Gonzalez is an ideal fit for the role of Batman's bride-to-be, Selina Kyle. The 27-year-old actress may be the exact same age as her Sirens' co-star, Margot Robbie, but she's nearly two decades younger than the current Dark Knight, Ben Affleck. That may make any potential love interest-y storylines between the two just a wee bit awkward in the eyes of some fans. In any event, Gonzalez certainly looks the part.
