Eevee is one of the most popular Pokemon of all time and once again appears in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. With the launch of the newest game, trainers are eager to dive into the new fully open-world main series game. For Generation 9, players will travel to the Paldea region with over 400 Pokémon in the game to collect. While a lot has changed in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet catching Pokemon remains the main aim for players old and new with Eevee one that many will be looking to find as early as possible.

One of the original 150 Pokemon that launched in the 1990s, Eevee has been a firm favorite throughout thanks to its cute appearance and its unique evolution line with eight different possible next stages. While Eevee has not gained a new evolution in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, it will still be able to evolve into its previously released forms. While a normal type itself isn't the most powerful on the battlefield, some of its evolutions such as Dark-type Umbreon and Psychic-type Espeon are very powerful. There are three locations where you can catch Eevee, West Province (Area 3), the route leading to the Pokémon League, and South Province (Area Two).

How To Find Eevee

Pokemon Violet and Scarlet Eevee Location

Thankfully for Eevee fans, it can be found and caught early on in the game. After players have finished the tutorial element of the game at the Academy and picked a new starter Pokemon players can go straight to one of these areas to try and capture Eevee. Not too far from the Academy itself is the City of Cortondo and just West of here is the South Province Area 2.

Eevee is listed as rarely seen in the Pokedex and will not pop up on the mini-map, but if trainers keep moving around in these areas it will eventually appear. To help in Pokemon Violet and Scarlet making sandwiches can increase the chances of a certain type of Pokemon spawning, so by making a ham sandwich, normal types will appear more frequently including Eevee. Once you find Eevee, it is fairly simple to catch and can be found early in the game at a low level between 10-15.

Despite all the new Pokemon in Gen 9, such as ghost dog Greavard, Eevee remains one of the most popular among players in the series. With the new open world, many Pokemon are now available to capture shortly after the tutorial is completed. Eevee can be found across three different locations in Pokemon Violet and Scarlet early on in the game and with its eight possible evolutions can prove a fantastic addition to any party.
