Adding to the recent clips and posters we posted for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, we have a brand new TV spot for the movie which you can check out below.
Eclipse reunites stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattison and Taylor Lautner, but this time things look to be more action-packed as the vampires and werewolves battle it out. Here's the official synopsis:
Bella (Stewart) once again finds herself surrounded by danger as Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward (Pattinson) and her friendship with Jacob (Lautner) -- knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella is confronted with the most important decision of her life.
As you'll see below, this latest TV spot packs a lot of action in and I can only hope that's indicative of the actual movie and not just a marketing ploy to get the male audience interested along with the already obsessed passionate female audience.

Is Eclipse really the movie event the world is waiting for, as the spot proclaims? I wouldn't go as far as that, but there's no doubting these Twilight movies make a lot of money (over $1.1 billion from the first two alone!). Although New Moon made over $700 million worldwide, I would be extremely shocked if the third and fourth films weren't equally (or even more) successful.
Thoughts on the latest Eclipse TV spot? Do you think it will be as successful at the box office as New Moon?
The Twilight Saga: Eclipse opens in theaters on June 30th, 2010. If you're eager you can already pre-order your tickets at sites like Fandango and Movie Tickets.
