More About Echo 3

Echo 3 Apple TV+ Michiel Huisman and Luke Evans

In Screen Rant's exclusive clip from Echo 3, Amber is brought to her final destination, a Venezuelan black site, where she is told she will eventually die. In the clip, Amber is being forced to make a statement about America on camera but quickly goes off script. She tearfully makes an impassioned speech about how the people who work for the American government believe they can make the world a better place. She describes the idea as childish, but explains that it is the heart of America. This infuriates her captor (Alejandro Furth), who tells her they will continue once he returns, clearly wanting Amber to speak negatively about her home. Creator Michael Boal co-wrote the upcoming fifth episode of Echo 3, "We Reject Your Influence" which premieres December 9.

The people holding Amber likely want her to make a statement because of her ties to the American government and military through her husband and brother. However, Amber shows strength and perseverance in the new clip by refusing to obey her captors. She may be doing this in an attempt to stay alive longer, but it could go deeper than strategy. Amber's refusal likely comes from a deep love and respect for her own military family and the others that she knows. While her captors continuously try to break her spirit, Amber knows that her loved ones will be coming for her, and this is further proof that she continues to stay strong in the face of incredible danger.

Echo 3 stars Michiel Huisman, Luke Evans, Jessica Ann Collins, and Martina Gusmán. The series features James Udom, Maria Del Rosario, Alejandro Furth, Juan Pablo Raba, and special guest star, Bradley Whitford. Echo 3 includes both English and Spanish dialogue, making it perfect viewing for any audience member practicing either language.
