As with any medieval game, players of Crowfall will rely on a consistent flow of gold into their pockets to keep them going. While farming gold can be tedious, players should be able to do it with little trouble. Players will need to collect quite a bit of it to get past the 20th level.

Most vendors charge quite a lot of gold for each of their products, so players will need to collect a good sum to do anything. Players that have run amuck of the world will already realize that killing off NPCs yields a very small amount of coin. They aren't worth a player's time if they actually want to purchase anything.

Earning Gold the Quick Way in Crowfall

Crowfall

There is only one real way to earn decent gold for the players efforts and that is by hunting mobs. Depending on the level of the mobs, players can easily earn 100-200 gold per enemy downed. Mobs will be indicated on the map by small black icons. There should be at least one mob per square of the map. Meaning no matter where a player is within the game, they should never be far from a mob. However, it's best to stick with more humanoid mobs as they will drop more money than the monstrous enemies. This way should allow players to quickly earn 1,000 gold or more per mob.

If a player has never dealt with a mob before or hasn't had much luck, one of the best ways to complete this is with strategy. The best way to fight off mobs solo is to focus on rounding up all the enemies and using some sort of AOE to take them out collectively. Otherwise, having a group to fight mobs is easier, but will cause each individual to earn less.

For players who are struggling to fight off mobs, or wanting something a little less dangerous to do, the other main option is to collect resources to sell. These should also be indicated on the maps by their own individual icons. Players can collect the resouces, and either sell them directly or build them into new items to sell. Both options should be fairly feasible without too much effort put in. However, crafting can be a bit tedious. Still, this will not be as quick or efficient as slaying mobs throughout the game.
