Despite the show having a few negative elements, the plot and character development have been brilliant so far. And despite kicking off to low rating on the CW, the series has gone on to become one of Netflix's must-see TV shows. Here are the most incredible plot twists that viewers have been treated to so far.

Alexis Gets Fallon's Face

Alexis with Fallon's face in a scene from Dynasty.

After Adam burnt Alexis' face at the fireplace, she was forced to have facial reconstruction surgery. Then the moment came to reveal what her new face looked like. The nurses unwrapped the bandages slowly as Adam entered the room holding a bouquet of flowers. He was clearly thrilled despite the fact that he was the one responsible for her wors.

When the bandages were off, the face was none other than that of Fallon. Apparently, Adam had given the surgeons Fallon's picture and told them to make Alexis' new face look just like that. Fallon herself wasn't too thrilled about the new development since she knew it was Adam's way to piss her off.

Cristal Wasn't Actually Cristal

Dynasty Cristal 1

In the first season, viewers were introduced to Blake's lover Cristal. She was a former employee at Carrington Atlantic who developed a close relationship with the multi-millionaire and ended up marrying him. Sadly, she was shot in the abdomen and the house she was trapped in was set on fire, leading to her demise.

But there was a twist. It turned out that the woman audiences believed was Cristal wasn't actually Cristal. Her name was Celia Mochada. Apparently, while in Mexico, the real Cristal learned about Celia's life of poverty in Caracas and felt she had to help her. Cristal thus gave Celia her identity, enabling her to move to America.

The Emergence Of Adam

Early in Season 2, Steven was mugged while in France. A man named George showed up to help him and Steven ended up telling him plenty of personal information. Steven was thus admitted to a psychiatric facility and while there, George showed up and told Steven that he was actually Blake's long lost son Adam. He hated how Steven had thrown away everything that had been given to him. He then made a promise to go to Atlanta and reclaim what was rightfully his.

Steven Isn't Blake's Son

Steven and Blake in Dynasty

Steven Carrington had all along been thought of as Blake's son. Blake wasn't too proud of him because he wasn't too interested in the family business. Steven enjoyed pursuing his own hobbies and passions rather than be a businessman.

Well, it turned out that Steven was different from Blake because he wasn't his biological son. It was revealed that after Alexis and Blake's baby was kidnapped, they two grew apart. Alexis thus sought comfort in the majordomo Joseph Anders and the two made love. Alexis thus became pregnant with Steven and made Blake think he was his son.

Jeff and Fallon in Dynasty

The Colbys have always had bad blood with the Carringtons, so it came as a major twist when it was revealed that they are actually related. In the twentieth episode of Season One titled "A Line From the Past," when Alexis Carrington revealed Blake's father Tom Carrington had an affair with Jeff and Monica's grandmother.

As a result of the affair, Jeff and Monica's mother Dominique Deveraux was born. This made Dominique Deveraux the half-sister of Blake. This also made the Colby children cousins to the Carringtons by blood. This made matters a bit more complicated because Jeff and Fallon had dated at some point.

Father Collins began flirting her and because her marriage with Blake was on the rocks, she began falling for him. Viewers hoped that nothing much would come out of the flirtation because Collins was a priest but they actually ended up sleeping together. This was surprising because all Catholic priests have a celibacy vow.

In the Season 3 finale, titled "My Hangover's Arrived", Fallon, Kirby, Sam, Cristal, and Allison traveled to New Orleans for Fallon's bachelorette party. Unfortunately, the were drugged by a bartender and woke up with no memory of the night before.

It turned out Sammy Jo got married to a male stripper named Ryan aka Scorpio that night. When Ryan informed him that they had tied the knot at an all-knight chapel, Sammy reacted with a brilliant one-liner, saying: " Wow. Blackout me is leaving sober me speechless."

Michael Goes From Chauffeur To Business Mogul

Dynasty - Michael Culhane

The writers must have gotten tired of portraying such an intelligent man as Michael as merely a chauffeur. When Michael graduated from college with decent grades, he wasn't so lucky when it came to finding a good job so he decided to take up the offer of becoming Blakes' personal driver. He wouldn't stay that way for long.

When Blake was being investigated, he temporarily transferred his shares of the soccer team The Atlantix to Fallon. However, when Fallon got wind of the schemes her father was up to, she refused to transfer the shares back to him and gave them back to Michael.  The former chauffeur thus became instantly rich.

Anders and Blake covered up the incident by putting Trixie's body inside the Carrington lake. Fallon lied to the authorities that Trixie had said she was going for a walk but she never came back. It was only when Adam Carrington hired divers to locate Fallon's engagement ring that the body was found.

Blake Didn't Have An Affair With Dominique

Jeff's father Cecil Colby had a deep hatred for Blake because he believed Blake slept with his wife Dominique Deveraux. He even tried to kill Blake and in order to protect himself, Blake paid off a judge to put Cecil away for years.

Jeff's father thus ended up spending close to a decade behind bars. However, in the episode "Our Turn Now," it was revealed that Cecil's anger was misguided. Apparently, Blake never slept with Dominique. She was actually his half-sister. So, Cecil had wasted time and effort hunting down an innocent man.
