In Dying Light 2, players have 2 Skill Trees to unlock new abilities, including wall running. The Combat Tree unlocks new melee moves and adds ways to chain Parkour moves into melee combos. While the Parkour Tree gives players a variety of new Parkour Skills in Dying Light 2 that allow players to experiment and customize the way they traverse the city of Villedor.

To unlock the Wall Run ability, players will have to increase their Parkour Proficiency by performing parkour actions and gaining skill points in the Parkour Tree. The Wall Run ability will be located four tiers down the tree near Tic Tac and Wall Run Jump. Not only will players need to increase their Parkour Proficiency, but they will also need to increase their Stamina.

Skills in the Parkour Tree and Combat Tree will be hard-locked until players reach a certain Stamina or Health Level. For Wall Run, players will need a minimum of 200 Stamina to unlock it. In addition, players will need around 2 Parkour Points in Dying Light 2 to be able to buy the Wall Run ability. Here are some tips and tricks to help speed up the process of unlocking Wall Run.

How to Get Parkour Points in Dying Light 2

Wall Running in Dying Light 2 (Parkour Skills)

First, players will want to prioritize getting Inhibitors as these are Legendary Consumables that allow players to upgrade their Health and Stamina. Players will need to have three Inhibitors to be able to do so. The strategy starting will be to use Inhibitors only on Stamina so players can speed up the process of removing the hard-lock on the Wall Run ability.

Players can find Inhibitors in GRE Crates scattered around the city of Villedor, inside GRE Quarantines and GRE Anomalies. Second, players will want to focus on gathering Parkour Points as fast as possible. A few easy ways to do this are by hop skipping over cars, scaling buildings, traversing quickly over rooftops in Dying Light 2's Open World, and completing Parkour Challenges. Every time the player moves without walking normally on the ground will increase Parkour Proficiency. The more Parkour Proficiency, the more Parkour Points players will receive.

Players can also earn double the amount of Parkour Proficiency at Night, but with Night gameplay. Dying Light 2 players will have to be careful of not dying or touching the street level. After dying during the Night, all of the bonus Parkour Proficiency will be taken away. And when caught by Howlers on the street level, it will cause a chase from Virals, making Parkour much harder. But whenever possible, players should prioritize Parkour during Night time in Dying Light 2 for quicker amounts of experience points.
