In Dying Light 2: Stay Human, players can find the locations of more than 60 blueprints for crafting items, weapon mods, and Easter Egg weapons scattered throughout the game. Each of the blueprints is an important part of Dying Light 2, and will significantly help players find and master their style of play. As players continue to play through the Dying Light 2 story, they'll gain access to new areas and craftable blueprints that will further help them on their journey to find everything they can possibly create.

The vast majority of blueprints in Dying Light 2 come from the Craftmaster vendors found in the faction settlements. Additionally, some blueprints can be acquired by completing sidequests, like the "Spark of Invention" sidequest acquired during the "Meet the People of the Bazaarmain story quest. Furthermore, there are several blueprints that are tied directly into the story and cannot be purchased or acquired by other means.

Each blueprint requires ingredients to create, but not a workbench to craft them at in Dying Light 2. Once players have the appropriate schematic and required ingredients, they can craft anything on the fly as they explore the city in Dying Light 2. Blueprint upgrades can be purchased from vendors, however, and significantly improve a blueprint's design with each upgrade. The blueprints that can be purchased from Craftmasters are bought with Old World Money, the game's main currency, but the blueprint upgrades are purchased with infected trophies in Dying Light 2.
