Dancing with the Stars pro Witney Carson has revealed that she's expecting a baby boy! Since she announced her pregnancy on July 23, fans have been anxious to find out the gender of her firstborn.
Witney has been a dancer on Dancing with the Stars for the past eight years. She started on the ABC show as a troupe dancer in Seasons 16 and 17, before going on to become a pro dancer in Season 18, alongside partner Cody Simpson. Later, she won Season 19 with partner Alfonso Ribeiro. Winning in the first two seasons is a rare accomplishment, which has been matched by only four other dancers, according to the show's official website.
Witney is having a baby with husband Carson McAllister. 26-year-old Witney held an outdoor gender reveal party with family members. The sex of the baby was revealed when blue powder shot into the sky out of confetti cannons. On Instagram, the DWTS star posted a beautiful tribute video of the special moment. In the video, the parents-to-be jumped and clapped together. They were celebrating something special. The couple are expecting to welcome Baby McAllister in January 2021, after the high school sweethearts tied the knot on January 1, 2016. Witney shared the exciting news of her pregnancy on her Witney Carson Instagram, with pictures of her embracing Carson and holding her sonogram and pregnancy test. She captioned the photos: "Baby McAllister coming Jan 2021!!!!! During the pandemic, dancing is still popular and has gone virtual, and so have many weddings. Witney from Dancing With the Stars has been spending her time during quarantine posting a step-by-step Viennese Waltz tutorial for her Instagram followers. "To all of the couples who are choosing to have their wedding ceremonies virtually due to COVID-19, I hope this Viennese Waltz tutorial will help you still have the first dance of your dreams," she captioned the video. She showed off the classical dance with partner Brandon Armstrong.
While it feels like the world has stood still during quarantine, it's thrilling to see the Dancing with the Stars pro share exciting news of her baby boy on the way. Assuming Witney won't be able to join the 2020 DWTS cast, fans will miss her on the dance floor this fall.
