Dancing With The Stars contestant JoJo Siwa is teasing what fans can expect in the upcoming finale. JoJo and her partner Jenna made history this season, by being the show's first-ever same-sex couple. JoJo came out in early 2021, and has been described by fans as a "gay icon." JoJo was in a relationship with Kylie Prew when the season started, and Kylie was even in the audience of several live tapings. However, fans became concerned when one week, JoJo expressed that she was going through a difficult time in her personal life. As they suspected, JoJo and Kylie broke up. But, JoJo has insisted that they still keep in touch despite not being as close as they were while in a relationship.

In the semi-finals, JoJo and Jenna received the highest scores of the night, with perfect scores for both performances. The second routine was particularly emotional, with JoJo dedicating the performance to her late grandfather. The couple has been a favorite to win this season, and surprised viewers when they landed in the bottom two during Week 7. This was the only time they faced elimination, and have gotten through with the public's votes every week since then.  Now, JoJo  & Jenna will compete against  Amanda Kloots & Alan Bersten, Cody Rigsby & Cheryl Burke, and Iman Shumpert & Daniella Karagrach.

On the red carpet of the 2021 American Music Awards, JoJo revealed to ET which performance she is most looking forward to. "For our freestyle, I honestly want it to be a surprise. [It] is probably the most meaningful song to me. And the dance that we do is so magical. I'm not gonna spoil [it], but the last 20 seconds are the 20 seconds in this season that I am most grateful for.JoJo, who has opened up emotionally during several episodes, is already sad to see the season coming to an end. "I will say this, no matter what, I'm going to be very emotional tomorrow night... I was saying today that I'm worried about looking like a sore loser, because I'm going to be sobbing — not because I didn't win, but because it's over... It's been a dream come true to be on this show, and to be in the finale is even more of a dream come true. To win would just be everything."

JoJo further addressed her breakup with Kylie, and how Dancing With The Stars became therapeutic for her. "There were days when the only thing that I wanted to do was go to rehearsals, dance with Jenna and take my mind off everything... That is something that, going through a breakup and a heartbreak, I was so grateful that I had." Amid JoJo's breakup with Kylie, fans suspected that Kylie may have been jealous of JoJo's partnership with Jenna. JoJo has insisted that this is not true, and that she's on very good terms with Kylie.

Fans have taken notice of JoJo's passion when it comes to competing on DWTS. Her breakup will only motivate her more to take everything she's felt and take home the mirrorball trophy. While she and Jenna would have three couples to beat, it wouldn't be surprising if they won. They are arguably the most popular couple this season, and their judges' scores have been very high.
