Dancing With The Stars contestant and Nickelodeon star JoJo Siwa is used to being in charge of her career, but she admits things are a little different when collaborating with her mom on her new Peacock series, Siwas Dance Pop Revolution. JoJo first stepped into the spotlight on Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition season 2, judged by Abby Lee Miller from Dance Moms. JoJo went on to star in the latter show before venturing into singing and voice acting on Nickelodeon's The JoJo & BowBow Show Show. The young star continues to follow her passion for dance by starring in the current season of DWTS alongside her partner, Jenna Johnson.

JoJo is currently a fan-favorite on DWTS season 30. She and Jenna have blown the judges away week after week, often getting perfect 10's from all four judges. Fans were shocked when the pair landed in the bottom two during Queen Week; luckily, the judges saved the couple, and they were not eliminated from the show. JoJo announced in early October that she would be hosting her own competition reality show alongside her mom.

The DWTS contestant is now stepping into Abby Lee Miller's shoes as her own show, Siwas Dance Pop Revolution, premieres on Peacock on November 4, and she's revealed what it's really like working with her mom. In an interview with E! News, JoJo admitted the dynamic of the show took some getting used to, saying, "With my career, I've always had the final say because at the end of the day, it's my life. But for this, she had the final say." The show's host added that there were times when she wanted to hand all the stress off to her mom to deal with; however, her mother was quick to remind her that they are a team and must work together.

JoJo also spoke with E! News about her experience on DWTS. She faced a lot of backlash when she joined the dance competition show as she was already a dancer. Many believed she had a leg up in the competition, and it wasn't fair for the other celebrities competing against her. However, JoJo doesn't see it this way at all. Though she may be an experienced dancer, she had no experience with the assigned routines, such as the foxtrot and tango. JoJo admitted she cried several times while learning her foxtrot routine for Grease Week and compared mastering the choreography to learning Chinese. However, the star praised her partner, Jenna, for her encouragement and patience.

Things will surely be different for JoJo now that she's hosting her own show and working alongside her mother, though she's sure to have the support of her devoted fans and supportive Dancing With The Stars partner. With her outgoing personality and worth ethic, she will be an excellent coach to the 11 young hopeful competitors on Siwas Dance Pop Revolution, the first episode of which is now available to stream on Peacock. JoJo has accomplished so much and has crossed between dancing, singing and creating her brand; she's sure to succeed in this venture as well.

Dancing With The Stars airs Mondays at 8pm on ABC.
