Dancing With The Stars contestant JoJo Siwa opened up about her breakup with her girlfriend, Kylie Prew. JoJo came out in early 2021 and has been breaking down barriers ever since. She and Jenna Johnson are the first same-sex couple on the competition show, and JoJo is even seen as a "gay icon". JoJo recently made an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, where she expressed how crazy it is to be in the same category as Ellen, Lady Gaga and Freddy Mercury at just 18 years old. It's especially so great because she gets to be in that category by being her authentic self.

JoJo made her relationship public on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon in early 2021. After coming out via social media, she stated that she isn't sure what she identifies as yet, but prefers to be called pansexual or queer. Unfortunately, JoJo and Kylie decided to end their relationship. Fans speculated that the couple was no longer together after JoJo posted on Instagram saying she was going through a hard week. Even though JoJo and Kylie's relationship didn't work out, it seems like they're still on good terms with each other.

JoJo revealed she hasn't started dating anyone new yet but is open to going with the flow. "Whatever happens happens," she told People. "I fell in love with somebody who I didn't ever expect to fall in love with. We met on a cruise ship, she was my best friend. And then we went to Disney together and all of a sudden ... it kind of all happened." Even though she's just letting life take its course right now, she is looking for one thing in particular. "But trust me, I want to have a cuddle date. So if anybody out there needs a cuddle date, cuddle buddy, I'll take it," JoJo said.

Staying busy with DWTS and her new Peacock show, Siwas Dance Pop Revolution, has helped her a lot. While there are some days where she does still talk to Kylie, there are other days where they don't speak at all. "And I think that either way, it's okay," JoJo said. Having her two TV shows has kept her "brain occupied" and "happy and healthy." She has a positive, mature outlook on the whole relationship. "I was in love for the first time. It is such an amazing gift and something that I will cherish for as long as I live."

Even though JoJo and Kylie's relationship didn't work out, it's nice to see that they're still friends and that nothing bad went down during their breakup. Fans are also getting to see a new, more vulnerable side of JoJo as she opens up about her life more. She's even doing more "personal" performances on DWTS as the show winds down. JoJo and Jenna could even be the ones to take home the Mirror Ball Trophy.
