Dancing With The Stars pro Jenna Johnson reacted to her husband Val Chmerkovskiy’s possible exit from the show. Jenna has opened up about the hardships that come along with competing on DWTS, especially because of the COVID-19 restrictions this year. The dancer admitted that it can be difficult to find a balance between her work and personal life while both she and Val are competing on the show. Because of the pandemic restrictions, the couple is unable to live together while filming. To bridge the gap, they sent little videos of each other's upcoming performances.

Val recently revealed that he may not be returning to DWTS next season. Val and his season 30 partner, Olivia Jade Giannulli, were eliminated on Janet Jackson Night after facing off against Jenna and her partner, JoJo Siwa. While Val expressed his gratitude for everything the show has given him, he also admitted he most likely won't be returning for DWTS season 31. He also made sure to say there's no animosity between him and the show, and he will continue dancing whether he's a part of DWTS or not.

Jenna opened up about her thoughts on Val's decision. "I hope it's not [the end]. I think that he is the best male dancer on the show, and I can say that very confidently and proudly," Jenna told ET. "I think that there is a lot more that we haven't seen from him that I would love to see." While Jenna hopes he returns, she'll also "support him no matter what," whether that means continuing on DWTS or pursuing something new like acting, directing or even music. Jenna will definitely be returning to the show next season and is looking forward to supporting her husband on new projects. "I will for sure be back here. It will be different [without him], but I think it would be also awesome," Jenna said.

While fans will be seeing more of Jenna in the years to come, they may also see her and JoJo take home the Mirrorball Trophy this season. The show's first same-sex pairing has made it to the finals, and they made it clear they're in it to win it. Jenna and JoJo surprisingly found themselves in the bottom two on the show's Queen-themed night. Although the pair has received incredible scores from the judges all season, a lack of fan votes caused Jenna and JoJo to almost be eliminated. Luckily, they were saved by the judges and pushed through all the way to the finals. This experience was definitely a shock for both women and is a reminder that fans have to vote to keep their favorites on the show.

Even though Val may not be coming back to DWTS, at least he had a good run with Olivia this season. Even though they didn't make it all the way to the finals, they got pretty far in the competition. Whatever Val decides to do next, he'll always have fans from DWTS and Jenna to support him.
