Jason Tartick opened up about his upcoming wedding with former Dancing With The Stars winner Kaitlyn Bristowe. The Bachelor Nation couple announced their engagement earlier this year following a romantic proposal in Nashville. Despite the fact that the wedding won't be televised, Jason revealed some of what the couple has planned, as well as what they haven't planned, for the upcoming event.

Kaitlyn first appeared on The Bachelorette season 11, where she got together with Shawn Booth. Kaitlyn and Shawn were together until 2018. Jason appeared on season 14 of The Bachelorette to compete for the hand of Becca Kufrin but was eliminated in the 9th week of the competition. After Kaitlyn's split with Shawn, Jason and Kaitlyn first got to know each other on Kaitlyn's podcast Off The Vine and have been together ever since.

Jason is enthusiastic about his and Kaitlyn's upcoming wedding. Jason recently shared with People that while he and Kaitlyn don't have everything entirely squared away for the event quite yet, the couple does have a general theme in mind. Jason says that the couple will most likely have a "Great Gatsby" themed wedding. Jason specified that the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel will serve as inspiration for only the aesthetic of the wedding, though it is unclear whether or not decor plans will change as he and Kaitlyn move forward with the wedding process. He shares that the wedding planning experience has gone smoothly so far, saying "it's going awesome."

Jason also shares that he and Kaitlyn do have a date lined up for the event, as well as a location, but that it is not entirely certain at the moment. "We have an idea of our target date but it's not locked in yet," says Jason. Jason says that while all is not set in stone, the "foundation" for the event is being put into place. Jason did not reveal many other details about the couple's plans, as it appears that they are still in the early stages of planning, but did add that in addition to the possible 1920's theme, the event will have a similar "energy" to Kaitlyn's Off The Vine podcast tour. Jason did not elaborate on what exactly about the wedding would give off that "energy."

Although the couple's wedding plans are not quite finished yet, it seems that fans should be able to expect more updates in the future, even if the wedding won't be on television. Jason has always been vocal in his support of Kaitlyn and their relationship throughout their journey together, and has been incredibly open about their relationship and recent engagement. Kaitlyn's first dance with Jason should be a memorable one; the couple might even be able to save wedding funds on dance lessons considering Kaitlyn's 2020 win on Dancing With The Stars. Given the fact that he referred to his fiancée's podcast tour when discussing what the wedding will be like, Jason and Kaitlyn's wedding is sure to be a chaotic but fun event for their friends and family regardless of the date, the venue, or the decor.
