Dancing With The Stars' contestant Iman Shumpert's wife, Teyana Taylor, has been asked how she feels about her husband's partnership with pro dancer Daniella Karagach. Iman has electrifying chemistry with his dance partner, Daniella. Teyana and Iman got engaged in 2015 and were married the following year. The couple has been thriving ever since and, together, make for the ultimate power couple.
Before Iman became a dancing icon on DWTS, he originally came to fame when he was drafted to play basketball for the New York Knicks in 2011. He then went to play for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2015 and won an NBA Championship with them in 2016. After his championship win, he stuck with the Cavaliers for two more years and then went to play for the Sacramento Kings and the Houston Rockets for the next two seasons. Finally, in 2019, Iman made his way back to New York and played for the Brooklyn Nets, whom he continues to play for today.
According to Us Weekly, Teyana is rock solid in her relationship with Iman and has no worries about the chemistry between him and Daniella. As a dancer herself, Teyana knows that the relationship between the two of them is just business. The passion and connection felt from them is just a part of the job, and that means that they're doing it well. Teyana explained, "We have to do movies and TV shows, and I have a love interest and stuff like that. It’s just part of the job." Teyana is actually really proud of her husband and happy that Daniella is pushing him out of his comfort zone. She praised Daniella as a choreographer and absolutely loves the chemistry that the two show off.
Teyana herself is no stranger to the spotlight as well. She is a well-known singer, songwriter, actress, choreographer and model. She is also signed to Kanye West's GOOD Music label. Her critically acclaimed album K.T.S.E. debuted at No. 17 on the Billboard 200. Teyana is continuing to grow her career, and she and her husband support each other's growth in any way they can.
Iman and Daniella are determined to dance their hearts out until they take home the Mirrorball Trophy. The chemistry between them will only continue to grow and make them compete even harder. Teyana is surely going to be supporting her husband and Daniella every step of the way.
