Dancing With The Stars pro Gleb Savchenko is dating Swedish model Natacha Peyre Requena, professionally known as Elena Belle; the two were spotted in Miami this weekend. The 37-year-old Russian dancer recently parted ways with his wife, Elena Samodanova, after 14 years of marriage. The former couple announced the news on their respective Instagram accounts last November. "We still intend to co-parent our wonderful children together who we love so dearly, and we will strive to continue to be the best parents that we can to them," Gleb said. As for Elena, she posted a quote that said, "I don't hate you, I'm just disappointed you turned into everything you said you've never be." Gleb and Elena share two children.
After becoming a single dad, Gleb has been living his best life. The Dancing With the Stars favorite became a United States citizen last month and has been brainstorming new projects such as a possible single father reality show while the hit ABC competition show is on hiatus. Speaking of which, Dancing With The Stars is scheduled to return on September 20. While the upcoming season's stars and pros have yet to be officially announced, there are rumors that Chris Harrison, Tayshia Adams, Hilaria Baldwin, Kellyanne Conway, LeAnn Rimes, Fran Drescher, LuAnn de Lesseps and Brian Austin Green will compete.
With a month of free time before he has to hit the dance floor, DWTS' Gleb is enjoying the Miami sunshine while dating Elena. According to ET, the newly formed couple was vacationing together at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort. Gleb and Elena even took time out of their flirtatious day to pose for cameras, putting their love on full display. Elena went a step further by making it Instagram official, sharing a photo on her Instagram Stories of Gleb at dinner with the caption, "My love."
Though the duo very much look and act like a couple, a source close to Gleb told ET they're "getting to know" one another. "Gleb and Elena met on July 4. They are having fun and getting to know each other," the source said. "They bonded over their kids, as they both have children around the same age. Gleb likes that Elena is fun but also gets the responsibilities of being a parent." Elena was previously married to Michael Theanne but unfortunately became a widow when he passed away from a heart attack in February 2020. They share a 3-year-old daughter together.
It's unclear if the couple will last in the long run considering Gleb is about to head back to Los Angeles for another season of Dancing With The Stars while Elena still resides in Europe. But if the duo can make a long-distance relationship work, this might just be the hottest couple of the decade. At the end of the day, their first vacation since meeting through a mutual friend on July 4 is making it clear that Gleb and Elena are both just genuinely happy.
