Dwayne Johnson jokingly refuses to concede the title of Sexiest Man Alive to Michael B. Jordan, even as he congratulates the actor on his win. Though he first entered the public eye as a professional wrestler, Johnson is now one of the biggest actors in the world. Over the years, he's come to be a reliable part of the Fast and Furious and Jumanji franchises while also holding down standalone adventures like Rampage and Skyscraper. Sometime in the near future, Johnson will join the DCEU in Black Adam, a movie he's developed for years now.

Undoubtedly, Johnson can count plenty of victories under his belt, including winning the title of Sexiest Man Alive. Year after year, People Magazine declares a winner in this ongoing competition, which began in 1985 with Mel Gibson. Johnson was crowned the Sexiest Man Alive back in 2016, and in the years since, those like Idris Elba and John Legend have laid claim to the title. Last week, it was revealed that Creed and Black Panther star Michael B. Jordan is People's winner for 2020. Very few people would say he doesn't deserve it, though some might like to tease him a little.

Johnson took to social media to acknowledge his place on People's overall 2020 list, as well as to offer some kind words to Jordan. "Congrats to my brother @michaelbjordan on the new sexy crown," Johnson wrote in a sweet show of support. Still, Johnson was unable to resist in some light ribbing, possibly inspired by a current political figure who refuses to concede a recent election. "I CONCEDE NOTHING," Johnson declared, jokingly clinging to his previous title with much gusto. You can see Johnson's post down below.

It's not uncommon for previous Sexiest Man Alive winners to poke fun at the new faces. Just last year, Legend received plenty of jokes from his Voice co-star Blake Shelton, while Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds made a funny video for the 2019 victor. That Johnson would both congratulate Jordan while refusing to concede is a rather amusing situation, and one that Jordan himself likely laughed at.

Both Johnson and Jordan have some thrilling projects on the horizon. In addition to Black Adam, Johnson will return for the second installment in his Fast and Furious spin-off series Hobbs & Shaw, among other things. Jordan, meanwhile, will reportedly direct Creed 3. Sadly, these two actors have yet to cross paths on screen, but who knows what the future holds. Perhaps Johnson's refusal to concede will somehow bring them together for a movie down the line. Wouldn't that be a lot of fun?
